Entrepreneurs, scholars, and academicians converged at the inaugural session of the 15th International Conference on Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science & Statistics (MACS-15) at IoBM on Saturday, December 20, 2025, under the distinguished leadership of the College of Computer Science & Information Systems (CCSIS). This Conference reflected the university’s strong commitment to cutting-edge research, global knowledge exchange, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The conference provided a vibrant platform for researchers, academicians, and industry professionals to engage in meaningful dialogue across technology, data science, and emerging computing domains.

The Welcome Address was delivered by Mr. Talib Karim, President IoBM with Opening Remarks by Prof. Tariq Rahim Soomro PhD, SMIEEE, Rector IoBM & Co-Chair IEEE Karachi Section. Prof Dr Muhammad Abbas P.E Tamgha-i-Imtiaz, Dean CCSIS-IoBM presented the Conference Theme & Technical Roadmap.

Gracing the occasion at MACS -15 were distinguished Chief Guest Prof. Dr. Atta-ur Rahman, Professor Emeritus, ICCBS, University of Karachi and the esteemed Guest of Honor, Mr. Ali Rashid, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Sindh for Science, Information & Technology. Keynote speakers were Prof. Luis Miguel Cardoso, Polytechnic Institute of Portugal; Dr. Muhammad Zeeshan Shakir, University of the West of Scotland, Mr. Naaz Scheik, CEO, SoftPak Systems USA, and Syed Hussain Sajjad, COO, Telec Group of Companies.
