No worksheets today. And yet — I don't think she's ever learned more. 🤲
My daughter and I spent the day in the kitchen: chicken samosas, spring rolls, and a full tray of brownies. Then everything we made was sold at a fundraiser — and every single rupee went to the Quran School Fund.
Here's what she practiced without ever realizing it: measuring and counting (that's maths), following a recipe in order (that's sequencing), folding samosas until they finally held (that's sabr), and giving away the fruits of her own hands (that's sadaqah — the real lesson).
This is what I mean when I say: get the academics systemized, and the rest of childhood opens up. Our mornings have a framework. Our afternoons have flour on the floor and purpose in the heart. Alhamdulillah for both. 💛

Delete the folder. I'll wait. 😄📁
Okay — don't actually delete it. But can we be honest about it? Forty phonics worksheets. Sixty maths printables. Five freebie groups. And still that quiet 1 AM question: where is all of this actually going?
Here's what I've learned homeschooling my own daughter: worksheets are not a curriculum. A pile of pages is activity — a plan is education. What your child needs is a 3–4 year framework: which books, in what order, with structured repetition (because a young child's memory keeps what it meets again and again — worksheet 1 is tricky, worksheet 3 is confident, worksheet 5 is flawless).
And here's the part nobody tells you: once academics run on a system, your child gets her childhood back. Our mornings have a framework. Our afternoons have baking, play, and Quran with love — not rush. Structure doesn't steal childhood. It protects it. 💛
If you're ready to swap the pile for a plan — I build it with you in one 45-minute call. Founding rate is still open for the first 5 mothers. Link in bio 🌱
Tell me honestly: how many worksheets are sitting in your downloads folder right now? 👇

You want your child to succeed — in this dunya and the akhirah? It begins with one relationship: yours with the Quran. 📖
In Surah Saad (38:29), Allah gives us the complete formula in one ayah. He calls the Quran مبارك — blessed — then tells us why He revealed it: لِيَدَّبَّرُوا — so we do tadabbur, deep ghor-o-fikr on its verses — وَلِيَتَذَكَّرَ — and tazakkur, taking the reminder into our lives.
Tadabbur + Tazakkur. Then amal. That is the path — in both worlds.
So slow down. Read every single word. Understand its meaning. Ask: what is Allah telling us, and what amal does this ayah call me to today? Then keep the connection musalsal — daily, continuous, not just Ramadan.
And mothers — we cannot transfer what we do not carry. Our children won't inherit our lectures. They will inherit our relationship with the Quran. Understand it first. Live it. Then teach it. 💛
Save this and pick one ayah today 📌

Have you ever stopped to ponder it? 🤔
Your pain. Your happiness. Your exact circumstances right now. In Surah Saad (38:27), Allah says He created none of it — not the heavens, not the earth, not anything between them — in vain.
Nothing is without purpose. So we have a choice when life gets heavy: keep blaming — people, situations, everything that went wrong — or pause and ask what Allah is showing us. One path hardens the heart. The other opens the Quran. 📖
That's where blame ends and peace begins.
Save this for the hard days 📌
They're always watching. 👀
We tell our children: "Read the Quran. Memorize your Surahs. Don't skip your Qaida."
But here's the uncomfortable question — when did they last see us open the mushaf?
If we as parents don't read the Quran, how can we expect our children to read it, understand it, and live by it? Children don't obey instructions — they imitate lifestyles. 🌙
Make it non-negotiable:
📖 A daily fixed time — even 30 minutes
🤲 Read with Tafseer, so you understand what Allah is telling you
🗣️ Learn proper Tajweed, so you recite it as it was revealed
👶 Let your children see you do it
The mushaf on your lap teaches more than a hundred lectures ever will.

Some books do the teaching for you. 📚 We picked this one up at bedtime and it opened up the sweetest conversation about feelings — alhamdulillah for stories with characters our kids can see themselves in.
