Last Sunday, we conducted the workshop “We Became Anomalies” hosted by Syed Sameel Fayyaz at the Frere Hall Gardens for the 4th Year Landscape Architecture course. The workshop was led by Anita Zehra and Fizza Ghanchi. The workshop allowed students to actively engaged with landscapes and it’s elements. Furthermore, it allowed students to contemplate non-human objects and matter, and to also reflect upon human & non-human relationships.

Bio: Architect at Kengo Kuma and Associates, Tokyo, Japan. Tiny house resident and former nomadic freelance architectural designer and illustrator, with experience across the UK, Switzerland, and Latvia, specializing in participatory and self-build design. Graduate of the Glasgow School of Art with a Master’s in Architecture.
