With the vision of Respected Chairman, Prof.Dr Muhammad Asif PT DRHS, the Department of Rehabilitation & Health Sciences (DRHS), Nazeer Hussain University successfully organized its 1st International Workshop on Clinical Dry Needling with collaboration of Ghani Physio & Prime Physio UK. The workshop was facilitated by a renowned international senior instructor, Dr. Rasha Hossein.
The session was attended by students, faculty members of DRHS, and healthcare professionals from various organizations. It was a highly interactive and enriching learning experience with excellent academic and practical engagement.
The Worthy Vice Chancellor presented a shield to the esteemed facilitator, Dr. Rasha Hossein, while the Respected Registrar presented a shield to the organizer, Dr. Shahab Uddin, Associate Professor, DRHS. Certificates of Participation were also distributed among all participants.

Community Care & Learning in Action!

DRHS, in collaboration with IHRI, successfully organized a One-Day Free Physiotherapy Camp and Educational Field Trip at Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi on 11th December, 2025.

During this impactful initiative, our dedicated faculty and students provided guidance and physiotherapy services to multiple patients, while students gained valuable hands-on clinical exposure through a field trip, bridging theory with real-world practice.

Through this activity, we proudly contributed to:

✅ SDG 4 – Quality Education

Together, we continue to promote community health, experiential learning, and social responsibility. 💙

Awareness for a Healthier Tomorrow 🩸💙
The Department of Rehabilitation & Health Sciences (DRHS), Nazeer Hussain University (NHU), in collaboration with Kutyana Memon Organization, successfully organized a Free Awareness Session on Thalassemia at the NHU Auditorium on 7th December, 2025.
🎤 Dr. Ali delivered an insightful presentation, highlighting the causes, prevention, and management of Thalassemia, creating valuable awareness among students and participants.
🩸 In parallel, Kutyana Memon Organization arranged a Blood Donation Camp, encouraging voluntary blood donation for a noble cause.
Additionally, the Department of Rehabilitation & Health Sciences, NHU conducted a Free Physiotherapy Camp, offering:
Awareness about physiotherapy
Basic assessment and treatment
Home plan guidance for long-term health management
The Worthy Vice Chancellor highly appreciated the departmental efforts for organizing such a meaningful and well-coordinated session.
🌍 Through this initiative, we also contributed towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 3 & 4) — Good Health & Well-Being and Quality Education.
