A rain garden is a small specially designed garden that collects rain water from roofs, roads or playgrounds. Instead of letting water go to waste or cause flooding, the rain garden absorbs it into the soil. After this hands-on, engaging activity, students of Class 6 went home with a resolve to work towards conservation of water in their homes and communities.

Teamwork can be fun as well as informative. Class 08 students made a solar oven using a box, foil and wrap to learn how the sun's energy can be utilized for cooking or for heating. They also made a quick melt- in- the-mouth snack in their newly constructed oven, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. S'mores anyone?

Students of Classes 6-8 took part in an environmental activity:
creating seed bombs made of recycled paper and seeds of different plants.
These can be scattered in open spaces to help grow plants and support greenery. This activity encouraged teamwork, environmental awareness and practical learning about sustainability in a fun and engaging way.
