SMB Quaid-e-Azam Public School SMB QAPS prepare students to understand, contribute to, and succeed in a rapidly changing society, a Mr.

Sindh Madressah Board was founded in 1885 by Khan Bahadur Hassanally Effendi, who was widely regarded as one of the most prominent educationists in the subcontinent. It is one of the oldest modern Muslim educational institutions in South Asia, which introduced formal international English education to the people. Janab Nisar Hassanally Effendi was born in Karachi on 24 th May, 1924 and gained his earlier education from Mumbai and then the Aligarh Muslim University. After graduating in Agriculture engineering, he started introducing modern values in agriculture sector and also established the Sindh Abadgar Sugar Mill in Tando Muhammad Khan. However, he later persuaded his grandfather’s mission of imparting quality education by establishing Quaid-e-Azam public school in Darsano Channo. Nisar Hassanallay Effendi has been a symbol of hard work. With his relentless efforts he has been able to build the Quaid-e-Azam Public School and turn it into a center of excellence. It is because of his untiring efforts that the school is not only famous in rural areas of Karachi as well as many students of Baluchistan as well. Janab Nisar Hassanally Effendi is highly esteemed for his pioneering role and contributions in rural development an introducing agro-based cooperative industries in Sindh. Successfully manages the various institutions of the Sindh Madrasah-tul-Islam as the Head of Board of Trustees / Directors for a number of years and chairman QAPS governing body. Much concerned with the problems of the unemployed youth, pioneered the establishment of meaningful vocational training for the average students of the S.M.B Schools which are widely popular and adopted by other institutions as well. Under his dynamic leadership a non-commercial residential Public School of the S.M.B School is being established on an extensive complex in Malir, named after the most illustrious alumni of the Sindh Madrasah, the Quaid-e-Azam. This highly professional institution is expected to cater and prepare students to successfully face the international challenges of the time. He took an initiative in the 1st Golden Jubilee of the Sindh Madrasah-tul-Islam announcing the opening of an Educational Institute on 1st September 1985 in the presence of the President General Zia-ul-Haq. He was brave and bold personality, his love for people can be seen through his efforts. He lived for education and devoted himself to serve the deprived of the Education which is highly esteemed for his pioneering role. Janab Nisar Hassanallay Effendi died in Karachi on Saturday, 1 st Feb, 2014 he .was admitted to the Agha Khan Hospital after fracturing his leg but passed away due to a cardiac arrest. “He survived for education. He always thought of encouraging it and devoted his whole life to it.”

Celebrations Before Eid & Summer Vacation ✨

Today was a day full of joy, excitement, laughter, and beautiful memories at our school as students celebrated the last day before Eid holidays and summer vacation. 🌸☀️

A wonderful party was arranged where students actively participated in different fun activities, games, and enjoyable moments with their friends and teachers. 🎉🎈

Certificates were also distributed among the winners of the Debate Competition and 3D Painting Competition to appreciate their hard work, creativity, and outstanding performance. 🏆👏 Congratulations to all the winners!

The school campus was filled with happiness as students enjoyed every moment together, clicked memorable pictures, and exchanged warm wishes of “Advance Eid Mubarak” before saying Khuda Hafiz to their friends for the holidays. 🌙✨

May Allah bless all our students and their families with happiness, health, and countless blessings. Wishing everyone a joyful Eid and a safe, refreshing summer vacation. 💖

Today, the 102nd birthday of our beloved Nisar Effendi Sahib and the prize distribution ceremony of the football championship were celebrated in a truly magnificent manner. Although the participation of GB and Sindh Madrassah Board members was limited, some very special individuals attended and added honor to the children and the campus. The performance of the hostel children was especially remarkable and worth watching.
Certificates and trophies were awarded to the winner and runner-up teams. A very large cake for our beloved leader’s birthday was distributed among all the children.
The highly respected Mr. Ghulam Hussain Baloch, Mr. Shafiq-ur-Rehman Paracha, Mr. Ashfaq Ahmed Memon, and Professor Dr. Shaista effendi sahiba delivered brief yet very meaningful speeches. The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves, applauding enthusiastically throughout.
In the end, the lively performances on Leva and Ho Jamalo songs by the children and teachers made the entire atmosphere joyful and vibrant.

Today, the first semifinal of the Nisar Hassanally effendi Football Championship was played at the Quaid-e-Azam Public School Football Grassy Ground between QAPS Eleven and Kalmat Star Academy. Kalmat Star Academy won the match 4–2 and qualified for the final.
Tomorrow, the second semifinal will be played between Lal Eleven and Sanober Academy. The winner of that match will face Kalmat Star Academy in the final on Thursday.
Among today’s distinguished guests were Pakistan Peoples Party District Malir Information Secretary and senior journalist Agha Tariq Pathan, Gaghar UC Vice Chairman and Pakistan Peoples Party PS-85 General Secretary Khalifo Abdul Sattar Jokhio, Pakistan Peoples Party Gulshan-e-Hadeed leader Khuda Bakhsh Pathan, and young journalist and social worker Abdul Ahad Bilali.

“Today, the final league match of the Nisar Hassanally effendi Football Championship 2026 was played between Kalmat Academy Kathor and Lal Eleven Dur Muhammad Goth, which Lal Eleven Dur Muhammad Goth won by 1–0. MashaAllah.

Now tomorrow, Insha Allah, the first semi final will be played between QAPS Eleven and Kalmat Academy at exactly 5:00 PM. The team that performs better will qualify for the final. Nevertheless, our prayers are with QAPS Eleven.🤲🤲

⚽🏆 Alhamdulillah! Today, the fifth league match of the Nisar Hassanally Effendi Football Championship 2026 was played between QAPS Eleven and Kalmat Academy. The match started with great excitement and intensity. Within the opening minutes, QAPS Eleven scored the first goal, but Kalmat Academy quickly responded with an equalizer.

Both teams displayed outstanding performance and determination throughout the game, keeping the audience thrilled till the very end. With the score level at 2–2, QAPS Eleven scored a decisive goal in the final five minutes and secured a memorable 3–2 victory over Kalmat Academy. As the final whistle blew, the ground filled with excitement as children rushed onto the field, dancing and celebrating the historic win with great joy. 🎉⚽
