Sometimes meaningful moments happen when kind intentions come together.
Soch Matters had the privilege of collaborating with Sehwani Mehndi the hero of Shukriya Box to spend a beautiful evening at Aaghosh Home Trust, sharing iftar, conversations and small Eid gifts with the wonderful people there.
We are grateful for this partnership that helped create moments of warmth, respect and togetherness. Because sometimes the most meaningful impact begins with one thoughtful gesture.

Through Just One for Someone, we hope to create moments of connection, respect and joy. Our team will visit to spend a special evening with the wonderful elderly women living there.
Our volunteers made Eid gifts and spend time in conversation and companionship, celebrating the spirit of togetherness that Ramadan and Eid are meant to bring. Sometimes the most meaningful moments come simply from showing up for one another.

In Pakistan, many families skip Eid shopping...
Just because they can’t afford it.
They won’t ask...
They won’t beg...
But your one extra outfit could mean everything.
Give just 1, for someone.

There’s one outfit in your wardrobe that is too good to throw away and too old to wear again. This Eid, let it celebrate again.
💛 Just One for Someone.

Luxury, travel and “PERFECT LIFE” posts are especially harmful, while authentic, real-life content tends to reduce these negative feelings. ~ Hiba R. Khan
Seeing other people’s fancy lifestyles, travel, and achievements on social media often harms mental health because it triggers "UPWARD SOCIAL COMPARISON" comparing your real life to someone else’s highlight reel. This leads to:
Lower self-esteem
Anxiety and depressive symptoms
FOMO (fear of missing out)
Feeling “behind in life” or inadequate
Loneliness and social anxiety
Materialistic pressure (feeling you must buy or achieve more)
