Educational Field Trip
Date & Day: Thursday, 21 May 2026
Place Visited: TDF MagnifiScience Centre
Around 200 students along with 20 teaching staff members of our school visited the TDF MagnifiScience Centre for an educational field trip under the supervision of our respected Principal, Dr. Shazia Syed.
The visit provided students with a valuable opportunity to explore science through interactive exhibits and practical demonstrations. They learned about different concepts related to physics, biology, space science, technology, energy, and the human body in an engaging and enjoyable way. The universe section, shock experience area, heart-pumping model, and several other activities greatly attracted the students’ interest and curiosity.
We sincerely appreciate the efforts of *
Madam Itrat Jamal, Regional Focal Person for STEAM, and Madam Kubra Shafi, District Focal Person for STEAM, for organizing this informative visit. Special thanks are also extended to Mr. Imtiaz Hussain Unar, District Education Officer, and Mr. Tariq Ali, Deputy DEO for their support and guidance in making this trip successful.
Overall, the trip was highly educational and inspiring. It enhanced students’ scientific understanding and encouraged them to connect classroom learning with real-life applications.

A moment of pride and patriotism was witnessed at Govt. Comprehensive Higher Secondary school as we celebrated Bunyan-un-Marsoos- the historic victory of Marka-e-Haq. Under the inspiring leadership of Dr. Shazia Syed, the teachers and students came together to express their unity and national spirit.
The event was filled with enthusiasm as students delivered powerful speeches, sang national songs, and raised spirited slogans in support of the Pakistan Army. Their voices echoed with pride, reflecting unwavering love and respect for our homeland.
Such celebrations not only strengthen our sense of unity but also instill in our students the values of patriotism, resilience, and collective strength.

Our respected Principal Dr. Shazia Syed, along with DSE Primary Prof. Bashir Abbasi and former Director Secondary Education, Karachi, Prof. Farnaz Riaz, extended their heartfelt congratulations to Prof. Musharaf Ali Rajput on taking charge as the Chairman of the Board of Secondary Education Karachi.
Dr. Shazia Syed highly appreciated his remarkable services as DEO Central, where his administrative leadership and commitment to improving educational standards were widely acknowledged. She also commended his ongoing role as Chairman of the Sindh Board of Technical Education, where he continues to play a significant part in strengthening technical and vocational education.
She offered sincere prayers for his continued success, good health, and strength in his new role as Chairman of the Board of Secondary Education Karachi, and prayed that he continues to achieve excellence and bring further progress to the field of education through his dedication and visionary leadership.

The Annual Result and Prize Distribution Ceremony at Government Comprehensive Higher Secondary School for Girls was conducted successfully under the dynamic leadership of Principal Dr. Shazia Syed.
The occasion was honored by the gracious presence of the District Education Officer, District Central, Mr. Imtiaz Hussain Anwar, and Deputy DEO, Mr. Tariq Ali, whose participation added great value to the event. The annual results were formally announced, followed by the distribution of prizes among high-achieving students in recognition of their academic excellence and dedication.
The esteemed guests interacted with the students and commended their hard work and commitment to their studies. Principal Dr. Shazia Syed extended a warm welcome to the guests and delivered an inspiring address, motivating students to continue striving for excellence.

Parent–Teacher Meeting (PTM) – Mock Examinations Class IX and X - 2025–2026
A Parent–Teacher Meeting (PTM) was held on March 14, 2026, at Govt. Comprehensive Higher Secondary School for Girls for the Mock Examinations of the academic session 2025–2026. The meeting was conducted under the kind supervision of the Principal, Dr. Shazia Syed.
The purpose of the meeting was to inform parents about the academic progress and performance of their children in the mock examinations and to discuss ways to further improve their results in the upcoming annual examinations. Teachers shared detailed feedback with parents regarding students’ strengths, areas that require improvement, and strategies for better preparation.
During the meeting, Principal Dr. Shazia Syed personally interacted with parents and students. She emphasized the importance of regular study habits, discipline, time management, and consistent practice. She encouraged students to remain focused on their studies and make the best use of the guidance provided by their teachers and the support of their parents.
Such collaborative efforts between parents and teachers play a vital role in the overall development and achievement of students.

Under the kind supervision of Principal Dr. Shazia Syed to provide students with a better understanding of the new OMR and e-marking system that is going to be implemented this year by the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi, an informative multimedia session was organized by the faculty members of the Higher Secondary Section.
During the session, students were thoroughly guided about the OMR filling procedure, the e-marking process, and effective time management techniques for attempting their papers. The students showed great interest, actively participated, and asked thoughtful questions, which were clearly addressed by the faculty. The session concluded successfully, leaving the students with a clear and better understanding of the new examination system.
