Productive District Education Group (DEG) Meeting Held in District Malir
A productive meeting of the District Education Group (DEG), District Malir, was held at the DEO Office Primary, Malir, Karachi, under the chairmanship of Sain Meer Hassan Lashari Sahib, District Education Officer (Primary), Malir.
The meeting focused on key educational priorities, including the Children’s Parliament Initiative, effective utilization of School-Specific Budget (SSB), and the status and timely disbursement of Girls’ Stipends. Participants also discussed strategies to enhance the quality of education, improve school governance, strengthen coordination among stakeholders, and ensure better educational outcomes across the district.
The meeting was attended by Deputy District Education Officers Nabi Bux Shar, Peer Ghulam Abbas Shah, Sain Lutafat Ali Khan, Imtiaz Ali Naich, Sikandar Ali Chandio, and Ghulam Murtaza Marri; TEO ESHS Allahwarayo Khoso; TEO Primary Sher Khan, Madam Khadija Rehman AEO Media Coordinator District Malir , representatives of GOAS, GSTA, PT-Alaf, Principals, Head Masters, Head Mistresses, and representatives of various NGOs and other education stakeholders.
The participants reaffirmed their collective commitment to strengthening the education system through effective collaboration, transparent implementation of educational initiatives, efficient utilization of available resources, and ensuring quality learning opportunities for every child in District Malir.
