Navy League celebrated Mothers day at BABA ISLAND SCHOOL
MJAF Celebrates Mother’s Day at Baba Island in Collaboration with Welnox.
This Mother’s Day, the Mohammad Jawed Akhai Foundation (MJAF) brought something truly special to the mothers of Baba Island, a celebration of self, emotion, and healing. In collaboration with Welnox, we invited 20 remarkable mothers and grandmothers to an experience many had never encountered before: a creative emotional wellness session held at the DMC Boys/Girls Primary School auditorium run and managed by Pakistan Navy League. Together, the mothers explored their inner child, crafted symbolic flowers in smaller groups, and later gathered in a heartfelt sharing circle to reflect on the emotions that surfaced. It was more than a celebration, a journey into self-expression, connection, and collective healing. The laughter, the tears, and the deep conversations were a testament to the strength and beauty of these women.
Each mother left not just with memories and the flower they crafted, but with thoughtfully curated wellness hampers, a gift of care, generously sponsored by Welnox. We are deeply grateful for this opportunity to stand beside these women and honor their stories.
Here’s to love, healing, and the unspoken power of community.
