Army Public School South Campus Malir Cantt

An informative Career Counseling Session was conducted at the APS Auditorium by the Senior Section. We were honored to have expert resource persons who guided our students on future paths. Sir Shamshair led the session, Sir Shafique shared a beautiful Islamic moral lesson, and Ms. Aneela & Ms. Nighat Fatima discussed exciting career options in Biology. For Chemistry, Ms. Sumaira Moiz, Ms. Rukhsana, Ms. Umama, Ms. Zaira, and Sir Suleiman gave us great insights into different fields.

The session was graced by our respected Principal Mrs. Fauzia Opel, Academic Coordinator Ms. Kousar Parveen, and our Section Head Ms. Saima Khalid. Their presence made it even more special.

It was truly an informative and inspiring session! Students attended with great excitement and enthusiasm, and their remarkable discipline made everyone proud. APS South once again proved that we don’t just study for exams, we prepare for life 🌟

Contagious Diseases Awareness Session

A Contagious Diseases Awareness Session was conducted by the Senior Section under the supervision of the Principal, Army Public School South Malir Cantt, to educate students about the prevention, symptoms, and control of communicable diseases.

The session was graced by distinguished guest speakers from Cantonment Board Malir Hospital:

Dr. Saima Shahid – MBBS, MCPS (Family Medicine)

Dr. Sidra Baig – Medical Officer, MBBS

Dr. Ashti Sajeel – BDS, RDS, Dental Consultant

Dr. Sara Rashid – MBBS, MPhil (Pathology), Incharge CBM Hospital

The speakers delivered informative presentations on various contagious diseases, highlighting their causes, modes of transmission, preventive measures, and the importance of maintaining personal hygiene and a healthy lifestyle.

Students actively participated and benefited greatly from the valuable information shared by the medical experts.
The session concluded with an engaging question-and-answer segment, during which students had the opportunity to seek clarification on health-related concerns.

The programme ended on a patriotic note with the singing of the National Anthem followed by the Qaumi Naara, leaving participants inspired and aware of their role in promoting a healthy community.

House Council Senior Section Meeting 2026–27

A House Council Meeting of the Senior Section was held under the supervision of the Worthy Principal, Army Public School South Malir Cantt.

The meeting focused on enhancing student discipline, improving academic performance, and discussing preparations for upcoming school events.

During the session, students were encouraged to demonstrate responsibility, punctuality, and positive behavior both inside and outside the classroom. The Principal emphasized the importance of maintaining high standards of discipline and developing effective study habits to achieve academic excellence.

Various upcoming co-curricular and extracurricular activities were also discussed, and House Council members were assigned responsibilities to ensure the successful organization of future events.

Students actively participated by sharing suggestions and expressing their commitment to supporting school initiatives.

The meeting concluded with the House Council members to serve as role models and contribute positively towards the progress and reputation of the institution.

The Progress Review Session for Grade IX First Assessment was conducted in the Senior Section under the insightful guidance of Academic Coordinator Ms. Kousar Parveen and Section Head Ms. Saima Khalid . The session delivered a rigorous analysis of student performance, identified key strengths and critical learning gaps, and sparked decisive remedial action. Honoring the occasion, Principal Mrs. Fauzia Opel graced the session, engaged directly with parents, and reinforced our collective vision. Driven by unwavering commitment, the faculty resolved to launch subject-wise intervention plans, provide personalized student mentorship, and strengthen parent-teacher collaboration to accelerate learning outcomes and uphold our benchmark of excellence for Grade IX 🌟🎉👏💫👍

A poster-making activity on Youm-e-Takbeer – Strength, Unity, and Progress of Pakistan – was successfully held today, 3rd June 2026 🎨. APS South Senior Section proudly celebrated this historic day with great zeal and patriotic spirit. Students poured their hearts out on canvas, showcasing powerful ideas through informative and visually stunning posters. The creativity, neat presentation, and deep patriotism reflected in every artwork truly honored the significance of Youm-e-Takbeer ✨. A big thanks to all participants for your enthusiasm and talent; you made us proud.
