Today our students practiced *Huroof* using sand trays.
Tracing in sand is more than fun — it strengthens fine motor skills, improves letter recognition, and makes Arabic reading less intimidating.

Each child traced, said the sound aloud, and found objects that start with that letter.
Learning that engages the senses is learning .

*Puzzle time = Deen time! 🧩*

Our students had so much fun learning the 5 Pillars of Islam through a hands-on jigsaw puzzle activity today!

Piece by piece they explored:
1. *Shahadah* - Faith
2. *Salah* - Prayer
3. *Zakat* - Charity
4. *Sawm* - Fasting
5. *Hajj* - Pilgrimage

Hands-on activities make big concepts small enough to understand and big enough to remember.

*How do you teach the 5 Pillars of Islam to kids? Make it hands-on!*

We used a jigsaw puzzle today and it worked like magic.
Each student got a piece, explained its pillar to the group, then we connected all 5 pieces to complete the picture of a Muslim’s foundation..
