Saturday holidays have been restored for the public sector, Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb announced on Tuesday, as the government seeks to implement austerity measures to rein in a spiralling cash crunch.

The day he entered office on April 16, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif issued directives to public sector offices to open at 8am and abolished the official Saturday holiday, triggering some protests from bank employees for the move to be reversed. The move was notified on May 7.

"Saturday offs have been restored. These are challenging times and it has been done to control this crisis," Aurangzeb said in a press briefing following a meeting of the federal cabinet.

Do not think 'O Prophet' that Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only delays them until the day when their eyes will stare in horror - Quran 14:42

After the recent brutal show of Israelian Security Forces on the innocent unarmed Palestinians in Masjid e Aqsa, which left 300+ injured and 2 martyred, had demanded an extreme response from atleast the Muslim Ummah if not from the International Community.

Pakistan PM Imran Khan vehemently condemned the Barbarism of Israel and called for International Community to intervene and protect Palestinians and their legitimate rights.

Saudi Arabia rejected Israel's plan to evict Palestinians from their homeland to settle Israelians, while UAE who recently normalised ties with Israel strongly condemned the Israel's force eviction of Palestinians and stressed Israelian Authorities to assume their responsibilities in accordance with International Laws.

Turkey and Iran also accused Israel of terror over clashes with innocent Palestinians at Al-Aqsa Mosque. Although, strong message might have delivered by the Muslim Ummah for Israel but not a productive one, as condemnation messages and sympathetic statements are futile until some concrete and robust step will take the lead of this situation.
