A living laboratory for dignity, independence, and community.
The Model Explained:
The Aashiyana Model is a comprehensive housing framework that moves beyond basic accessibility. Developed in partnership with the Department of Architecture & Planning, NED UET, and community partner ACASH, it integrates:
· Universal Design: Homes and community spaces built for everyone.
· Economic Empowerment: On-site skill development and vocational hubs.
· Climate Resilience: Energy-efficient, climate-responsive architecture using local materials.
· Social Fabric: Layouts designed to promote interaction and peer support.
