SZABUL Students Welfare Society (SSWS) is the elected student representative body at Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto University of Law, Karachi - the first and premier law university in Pakistan. Founded in 2021, SSWS is committed to representing student interests, fostering academic and professional development, and promoting welfare initiatives across the university community. Operating under a structured and collaborative framework, SSWS comprises multiple specialized societies and cells that cater to a wide spectrum of student interests and causes, including:

- Editorial Society
- Event Management Society
- Moot Court Society
- Media Society
- Talent Hunt Society
- Women Empowerment Cell
- Business Club (for BBA students)
- Criminology Club (for Criminology students)
- Sports Club
- Literature & Cultural Society
- Orators Society

Each of these bodies functions under the umbrella of SSWS, working collaboratively to foster creativity, critical thinking, professional growth, and inclusive participation among students. Through events, competitions, workshops, and advocacy, SSWS continues to uphold its commitment to student welfare and institutional excellence at SZABUL.

The SZABUL Students Welfare Society is seeking applications from eligible students to constitute the Election Commission for its forthcoming elections.

This presents a valuable opportunity to support and oversee a free, impartial and transparent electoral process within the university.

Eligibility Criteria: Applications are open only to final-year students enrolled in the LL.B, BBA, and Criminology programs.

Another Proud Milestone for The Truth Magazine (Volume 01)

It is a matter of immense pride and honor that The Truth Magazine (Volume 01) continues to reach distinguished voices from Pakistan's political, intellectual, social, and democratic circles.

On the occasion of the Democracy Summit 2026, titled "United for Democracy: Reclaiming Democratic Spaces and Protecting Rights," held at the Beach Luxury Hotel, Karachi, copies of The Truth Magazine were formally presented to several renowned personalities who have significantly contributed to democratic values, human rights, political discourse, and social development in Pakistan.

The magazine was presented by the former Editor-in-Chief Miss Aqsa Zainab to:

Raza Rabbani : Senator of Pakistan and Former Chairman Senate
Miftah Ismail : Former Finance Minister of Pakistan
Safdar Abbasi : Secretary General, Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA)
Riaz Ali Chandio : Chairman, Jiye Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM)
Jami Chandio : Renowned Writer, Scholar, and Social Activist
Samson Salamat : Chairperson, Rawadari Tehreek

The event provided an excellent platform to showcase the vision and mission of The Truth Magazine, a publication dedicated to promoting informed dialogue, critical thinking, social awareness, democratic values, and youth engagement.

Former Managing Editor Muhammad Waryam, who also serves as Joint Secretary of SSWS (2025–26), was proud to be part of this memorable occasion and this significant achievement for the magazine.

These presentations symbolize not only the growing recognition of The Truth Magazine but also its commitment to creating meaningful conversations around democracy, rights, social justice, and public awareness.

Every milestone strengthens our resolve to continue providing a platform where truth, knowledge, and constructive discourse can flourish.
