What is a Black Hole?
A black hole is a region in space where the gravitational pull is so strong that nothing, including light, can escape. It's formed when a massive star collapses in on itself, causing a massive amount of matter to be compressed into an incredibly small space.

Key Characteristics:

Event Horizon: The point of no return around a black hole. Once crossed, anything is trapped.

Singularity: The center of a black hole, where density and gravity are infinite.

Gravitational Pull: So strong that it warps space-time around the black hole.

Types of Black Holes:

Stellar Black Holes: Formed from collapsed stars.

Supermassive Black Holes: Found at the centers of galaxies, with masses millions or billions of times that of the sun.

Intermediate-Mass Black Holes: Black holes with masses between stellar and supermassive.

Effects on Space and Time:
Gravitational Lensing: Black holes bend and distort light around them.

Time Dilation: Time passes slower near a black hole due to strong gravity.

Frame-Dragging: Rotation of a black hole creates a "drag" effect on space-time.

Key Concepts

Quantum States

Quantum states describe particles existing in multiple states simultaneously, known as superposition. Imagine a spinning coin: until it lands, it's both heads and tails.

Superposition
Think of finding a friend in a park. Until spotted, they could be anywhere. Similarly, particles exist in multiple positions or states until measured.

Quantum Entanglement
Picture two connected dice. Rolling one instantly affects the other, regardless of distance. Entangled particles exhibit this phenomenon.

Wave-Particle Duality
Light behaves like waves (ripples) or particles (tiny balls). Electrons exhibit this dual behavior, acting like waves or particles depending on observation.

Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle
Measuring one property (position) reduces accuracy of another (momentum). Imagine photographing a fast-moving car.
