The Higher Education Commission (HEC), Government of Pakistan, Regularizes the Students Admitted in Isra University in 2022 and Onwards and Assures Attestation of Their Degrees

The Higher Education Commission (HEC), Government of Pakistan, through its letter dated 28 November 2025, has been pleased to resume the academic operations and recognition of graduates' degrees of Isra University, including from Fall 2022 and onwards. This is great news for all the students, their parents and the university who has been working tirelessly to regain its eminence.

This achievement is a testament to the university’s commitment to academic excellence and resilience in the face of challenges. May Allah Kareem bestow upon this institution the light to true success and the ability to achieve its envisioned beacon of brilliance and virtue.

World Diabetes Day at ATMC | 25 November 2025
Al-Tibri Medical College, Isra University Karachi Campus, proudly organized a Free Diabetic Screening Camp, followed by an Awareness Walk, arranged by the organized by the Department of Advance Training & Development in collaboration with the Department of Medicine, Department of Community Medicine, and the Department of Nursing.

The event was inaugurated by the Principal, ATMC, and was further honored by the presence of Prof. Dr. Asad Jiskani, Dean, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, who also joined the Awareness Walk along with other respective faculty members. 🎗️

👨‍⚕️ Hundreds of community members availed free diabetic testing and medical consultation, while students and faculty joined the Awareness Walk to spread the message of early detection, healthy lifestyle, and diabetes prevention. 🩺🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️

We thank everyone for their overwhelming response and encouragement. Together, we can continue promoting health awareness and serving our community. 💙✨

Workshop on “Hand Hygiene”

A workshop titled “Hand Hygiene” was conducted on 18th September 2025 (Thursday) at Al-Tibri Medical College, Isra University Karachi Campus.

Facilitators included Dr. Shumaila Kamran, Dr. Beena Khan from the Department of Medicine, and Ms. Yokta Mukhi from Final Year MBBS. Volunteers from MBBS I to V Year actively participated.

Students first attended a hands-on presentation in the Skills Lab, followed by demonstration and practical activities in the OPDs of Al-Tibri Hospital.

The workshop was facilitated by the Department of Medicine and coordinated by the Volunteer Force Against Hepatitis Transmission (VFAHT).

Models & Posters Competition 2025

Held on 25th September 2025 (Thursday) at Al-Tibri Medical College, Isra University Karachi Campus, organized by the Advanced Training & Development Department (AT&DD).
The event showcased creative and informative models and posters developed by MBBS students (1st to Final Year), attended by distinguished faculty members and students.

Guests of Honour: Prof. Dr. Umer Kazi, Pro VC (Basic Health Sciences, IUKC) & Prof. Dr. Salman Kazi, Chairperson & HOD Forensic Medicine, IU Isra University Hyderabad

The jury members included esteemed professors from Isra University Hyderabad, Al-Tibri Medical College, and Fazaia Ruth Pfau Medical College Karachi.

2nd – “HIV” (Combined Final & 3rd Year MBBS)
3rd – “Domestic Violence & Mental Health” (4th Year MBBS)

The Directorate of Student Activities & Athletics, Al-Tibri Medical College, successfully organized an awareness session on “Healthier Student, Strong Nation” in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan and the Deputy Commissioner Office Malir, Government of Sindh.

Key Speaker: Dr. Wajahat, Director, Willing Ways – An Addiction Treatment & Psychiatric Center

Both guests shared powerful messages highlighting the importance of a drug-free educational environment and the collective responsibility to protect youth from the menace of drugs, narcotics, and to***co.
