Salam everyone. A quick update on the CSS classes I mentioned in August.

We will start on September 19, 2026, with 12 sessions on Current Affairs and 12 on Essay. I can only manage one batch for each subject this year, so I want to keep the group small enough to give students proper attention.

The aim is to help you understand what you read, form your own arguments, and put them into a clear, well-structured essay.

The fee will be kept low, mainly to help cover the materials, resources and other expenses involved in running the classes. Completing the diagnostic test will make you eligible for a further significant reduction. For serious students who genuinely cannot afford it, there may be no fee at all. But please complete the test without it, you will not qualify for the reduction.

There is time to prepare before attempting it, so please don’t rush in just to see what the questions look like. Only your first attempt will count. If more students apply than I can accommodate, I will also use the test to select the group.

And my warning from August still stands: I am not an easy teacher. 😄

There will be regular quizzes once classes begin, with 75% as the minimum acceptable score. Score below that three times and you will lose your place. Please join only if you can make time to study and do the work between sessions.

For me, this is a small way of giving something back to Pakistan by sharing what I have learned with those preparing to serve it. I am setting aside time alongside my job, and what would make that effort worthwhile is seeing these students grow into capable, thoughtful public servants. I will take your preparation seriously, and I expect you to do the same.

Quite a few students have been reaching out to me lately asking for help with CSS preparation. So I have decided to take out some time and start a small group for Current Affairs and Essay.

I will keep the fee very low, and for some serious aspirants who genuinely cannot afford it, there may be no fee at all.

But one warning in advance: I am not an easy teacher. 😄

There will be regular quizzes, and 75% will be the minimum acceptable score. If you fall below that three times, you will lose your place in the group. I would rather teach a smaller number of committed students than have a large class where people are not serious.

If more people apply than I can reasonably handle, I will conduct a short test and select the students accordingly.

I am not doing this as a business. I simply want to give some of my time to young people who seriously want to join the civil service and, hopefully, become better public servants and leaders for Pakistan.
