A significant meeting was held at the SITE Association of Industry Office with members of the SITE Association of Industry. The delegation of the Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Human Resource Research & Development Board (BBSHRRDB) was warmly welcomed by Mr. Majyd Aziz, President of the Employers Federation of Pakistan (EFP) and Founding Member of the Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Youth Development Program (BBSYDP), Mr. Ahmed Zulfiqar, Acting President, Mr. Kamran, Former President, and members of the Executive Committee.
During the meeting, the Worthy Secretary of BBSHRRDB presented a comprehensive overview of the Board’s mandate, ongoing initiatives, and achievements in the fields of human resource development, vocational training, and skills enhancement.
The meeting was also attended by Regional Consultants Eng. Taimur Ali and Mr. Muhammad Suleman Dashti, along with other officers of the Board.
The discussions focused on identifying industry specific skill requirements and aligning training programs with the current and emerging needs of the industrial sector to develop a highly skilled and employable workforce. Detailed deliberations were held on enhancing employment opportunities for trainees across various industries, strengthening collaboration between industry and training institutions, and improving job placement outcomes for skilled graduates. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to fostering closer cooperation to bridge the gap between skills development and employment, thereby contributing to sustainable economic growth and industrial development.
