WIN was founded on October 11, 2013, with a vision to empower and uplift. Today, we celebrate another year of that journey, surrounded by the most important people in our mission: our girls, the heart and center of our universe. Happy 12th Anniversary to us.

It’s truly inspiring to share the remarkable journey of Rani Baloch. She joined our free schooling program in 2015, pursued her education, and not only graduated but also returned to contribute to the community. Rani is now actively involved in teaching other girls and plays a crucial role in our Saheli Ki Baithak program, providing a safe space for women in Lyari—both physically and emotionally. We couldn’t be prouder to announce that she will be speaking at the Adab Literature Festival alongside other distinguished guests.

Celebrating a decade of love, unity, resilience and empowerment in the most remarkable way possible! On our 10th anniversary, we came together to play football, with girls donning their beautiful cultural dresses. It was a moment of joy and celebration.

But what makes this date even more special is that on October 11, 2013, we embarked on a journey with a vision – to empower the girls of the Lyari community through the power of education. Little did we know back then that this day also marks the International Day of the Girl Child. It’s as if fate conspired to remind us of our mission’s importance.

In 2013, we took the first steps towards our dream, and today, a decade later, we’ve come a long way. We’ve overcome challenges, celebrated successes, and, most importantly, seen the transformation in the lives of the girls we serve. These incredible girls are breaking barriers, shattering stereotypes, and proving that with education and support, they can achieve anything.

Our commitment to empowering these girls through education remains unwavering. We believe that every girl deserves the opportunity to reach her full potential, and our mission is to make that a reality. Thank you for being a part of this incredible journey, and here’s to many more years of making a difference and changing lives!
