We don’t teach math—we help mathematical minds awaken naturally within the child

Why I Won’t Make Lesson Plans Just for Formalities
Let’s be honest — it’s practically impossible to plan meaningful lessons when a teacher handles multiple subjects across several classes. If you are a school leader and you truly care about quality teaching and not just ticking boxes, then this is for you:
👉 Assign each teacher one subject and at most one class across different arms. Two classes max.
👉 Reduce the workload and hire more hands if you truly want well-thought-out lesson plans.
Because here’s the truth: The energy and time needed to plan a lesson is even more than the time it takes to teach it.
In most private schools, there aren’t enough teachers. One person is expected to teach Mathematics across all classes — from JSS1 to SS3. How then do you expect that teacher to plan effectively?
I’ve been in a system that worked. At British Spring College, Awka, I only taught Maths and Further Maths to Year 10. That meant just two proper lesson plans per week. Sometimes, my HOD even prepared the Further Maths plan, and we reviewed it together. That system made me enjoy planning and teaching.
But when I’m overloaded and you just want me to submit lesson plans for documentation — not because you care about classroom delivery — then I will not make it.
I’ll rather plan in my head and teach with passion than waste energy on paperwork that no one uses.
If you want proper lesson plans, reduce the workload. Simple.

✨ The Montessori Trio: Pink Tower, Brown Stairs & Red Rods Unveiled! 🌈
Curious about how these iconic materials shape little learners? 🧠
These three sensory tools work in perfect harmony to build a child’s grasp of size, space, and order—while sparking joy in discovery!
💗Pink Tower: Mastering 3D Volume
10 pink cubes (1cm³ to 10cm³) challenge kids to stack from largest to smallest. As they build, they’re:
✅ Developing spatial awareness
✅ Refining hand-eye coordination
✅ Gaining confidence in size comparison
(Watch as they proudly correct their own mistakes!)
🤎 Brown Stairs: Exploring Width & Height
Also called the Broad Stair, these 10 prisms (same length, varying dimensions) let children:
🔹 Touch-test different widths
🔸 Visualize height proportions
🔹 Create “architectural” structures
(Hello, early geometry lessons in disguise!)
❤️ Long Red Rods: Conquering Length Sequencing
10 vibrant rods (10cm to 1m) invite kids to line up shortest to longest, building:
🔹 Linear measurement skills
🔸 Patience for precise ordering
🔹 Vocabulary like “shorter” vs “longest”
(Pro tip: They’ll start measuring toys with these rods naturally!)
🌈 Why This Trio Is Revolutionary
Together, they:
✅ Train eyes to spot subtle size differences
✅ Strengthen pincer grip for writing
✅ Lay groundwork for algebra (hello, proportional thinking!)
✅ Bridge concrete play to abstract math
🌟 Montessori Magic in Every Stack
These aren’t just materials—they’re stepping stones to:
🔹 Independent problem-solving
🔹 Lifelong love of learning
🔹 Cognitive skills that last a lifetime
