Join us for a day of conversations, presentations, and performances exploring folklore as a living archive of knowledge and creative expression.

The event will also feature performances by established artists Rahat Ali, Muhammad Talib, Arsalan Pareyal and many more, alongside student performances.

The performance, moderated by Sir Arsalan Pareyal, was an immersive sonic journey into Afghan and Regional folk repertoires. The event closed with an intimate discussion on the instrument’s artistry and discipline.

A Night of Grace and Gratitude: Rooh-e-Raqs✨

The Center for South Asian Music, in collaboration with Moseequi and Raqs Club, proudly hosted Rooh-e-Raqs on October 16h.
This night was a moving tribute to the art form. The soulful performances by our dedicated students filled the hall with emotion, beautifully complemented by the exquisite artistry of Miss Nighat’s Kathak dance group.
We are deeply grateful for the tremendous talent showcased and the collective effort of every organizer and attendee. Your presence made the difference.
