سوات (لعل شیرخان سے) ڈپٹی ڈائریکٹر آف انڈسٹریز، کنزیومر اینڈ پروٹیکشن سوات نے دی لیڈ کالج کانجو ٹاؤن شپ کا دورہ کیا، جہاں انہوں نے طلباء سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے اپنے حقوق کے لیے آواز اٹھانے کی اہمیت پر روشنی ڈالی۔ اپنی تقریر کے دوران انہوں نے اس بات پر زور دیا کہ ایک بہتر معاشرہ اور ایک مضبوط قوم تبھی حاصل کی جا سکتی ہے جب لوگ اپنے حقوق کا فعال طور پر مطالبہ کریں۔انہوں نے طلباء اور عوام الناس پر زور دیا کہ وہ روزمرہ استعمال کی اشیائے خوردونوش کے معیار اور قیمتوں کے بارے میں چوکس رہیں، غیر معیاری اور زائد قیمت پر اشیاء کی فروخت کے خلاف تنبیہ کریں۔ مزید برآں انہوں نے اس بات پر زور دیا کہ تمام گھریلو اشیاء کو مقررہ معیارات پر پورا اترنا چاہیے، اور کسی قسم کی خرابی یا غیر معیاری کوالٹی کو برداشت نہیں کیا جانا چاہیے۔ڈپٹی ڈائریکٹر نے سروس پرووائیڈرز کو جوابدہ رکھنے کی اہمیت پر بھی روشنی ڈالی، بشمول ٹیلی کمیونیکیشن، واپڈا، بینکوں اور دیگر شعبوں میں، انہوں نے عوام کی حوصلہ افزائی کی کہ وہ ملی بھگت، تاخیری حربوں، یا اشتہار کے مطابق خدمات فراہم کرنے میں ناکامی کے کسی بھی معاملے کی اطلاع دیں، چاہے اس کا تعلق نجی اسکولوں، پبلک ٹرانسپورٹ، یا کسی دوسرے ادارے سے ہو۔ انہوں نے حاضرین کو یقین دلایا کہ انہیں کسی بھی شکایت کی صورت میں صارف عدالت سے رجوع کرنے کا حق ہے۔ انہوں نے صارفین کے حقوق کو برقرار رکھنے میں صارف عدالتوں کے کردار کو تقویت دیتے ہوئے کہا، "ان کو انصاف فراہم کیا جائے گا جو اس کے خواہاں ہیں۔" یہ دورہ نوجوانوں میں ان کے حقوق اور کاروباری اداروں اور خدمات فراہم کرنے والوں سے احتساب کے مطالبے کی اہمیت کے بارے میں بیداری پیدا کرنے کی جاری کوششوں کا حصہ تھا۔اس موقع پر ڈسٹرکٹ سول جج کے ریڈر اعجاز الحق، کنزیومر پروٹیکشن کورٹ کے آئی ڈی او ریاض الدین ، پروسیس سرور ہارون اور پرنسپل دی لیڈ کالج نواب زادہ نے بھی خطاب کیا.
