According to Hadith,to gain knowledge is the obligation of every man and woman.It means gaining of knowledge is just like Namaz , roza ,Hajj and zakaat.
Every obligation has the timetable like Namaz, roza ,Hajj and zakaat.There is another Hadith which gives the timetable for gaining knowledge. According to which '' Gain knowledge from cradle to grave.'' From above Hadiths ,importance of knowledge is very obvious. But the question is that how can we gain knowledge throughout life. The answer is that we can gain knowledge through our thinking process by pondering on every situation and on every event.School, college and universities are not necessary for gaining knowledge. The main thing required for knowledge is thinking process.To start a thinking process, school ,college and universities play an important role. From where we can define the role of educational institutions. Are our educational institutions are facilitating the thinking process? Obviously not. But they are hindering and vanishing our thinking process.

One of the aims of education is to build up the capability to control the thinking process.For this we should try to understand the thinking process.The brain can be divided into two parts as
1) Consious
2) Subconscious
We solve different sums of mathematics using conscious mind which is 10 percent .
The remaining 90 percent is subconscious mind which works on the basis habits and instincts.
When we say to control the thinking process , it means to control the subconscious mind.We want to control the 90 percent subconscious mind using conscious mind.It is the huge target of education.
Therefore educated person is that who has control on Subconscious.

The purpose of education is to achieve the control on thoughts , feelings and actions.According to the purpose of education, it can be divided into three disciplines
1) Cognitive Domain(thoughts)
2) Affective Domain(feelings)
3) Psychomotor Domain(Actions )
We will discuss different things about these three disciplines in the next posts.

What is DFS formula for Assessment of students?
DFS stands for Diagnostic Assessment, Formative Assessment and Summative Assessment.

Diagnostic Assessment:
Diagnostic Assessment is done before the lecture to check the previous knowledge of the students about the topic.

Formative Assessment:
Formative Assessment is done during the lecture to check the attention of the students related to topic.

Summative Assessment:
Summative Assessment is done after the lecture to check the understanding of the students about the topic.

What is the purpose of education?
According to Dr.Benjamin bloom, the purpose of education is to convert a non disciplined man into a disciplined man. It means education teaches a man one thing only discipline. Now the question is , what is discipline? The discipline means the control over thoughts , feelings and actions. According to American researcher kopmeyer man can fulfill it's aim or goal only through the power of discipline.
