⚑ Student Project – 2-Pole DC Motor πŸ”§
This group from our Electric Machinery Lab built a 2-pole DC motor as their final project, applying their knowledge of electromagnetism and motor design in a practical build.
πŸ”Ή Their setup featured a rotor coil (armature), permanent magnet, rotor shaft with support brackets, and a battery-powered circuit with USB charging β€” a clean, compact demonstration of core motor principles
πŸ”Ή The group worked through the design, winding, and assembly process to bring their motor to life
πŸ”Ή Their project was evaluated by all faculty members, including the Chairman
Well done to the group for their effort and teamwork! πŸ‘

⚑ Hands-On Learning in Action – Electric Machinery Lab πŸ”§
Proud moment as an instructor! Wrapped up the Electric Machinery Lab this semester, where students took their theoretical knowledge and turned it into something real β€” designing and building their own DC motors as a final project.
πŸ”Ή From understanding electromagnetic principles to actually winding coils and assembling components, students got a true taste of engineering in practice
πŸ”Ή Watching their motors spin to life for the first time never gets old!
πŸ”Ή This project pushed students to apply concepts of electromagnetism, torque, and circuit design in a real, tangible way
The final projects were formally evaluated, with all faculty members, including the Chairman, taking part in assessing the students' work. It was wonderful to see the department come together to recognize and encourage the hard work and dedication these young engineers put in.
A big congratulations to all the students for their creativity, effort, and perseverance throughout this project. This is exactly the kind of practical exposure that shapes confident, capable engineers for the future! πŸ‘
Grateful to be part of a department that values hands-on learning and invests time in nurturing student talent.
