The area has a very low literacy rate and the majority lives under the line of poverty. The school was started by Haji Ghulam Hussain (late), a local who belonged to the field of farming. With his two children and some grandsons and daughters getting educated, Haji Ghulam Hussain had a vision to educate the others in the area. With the area very less developed and the literacy rate almost close to
zero, Haji Ghulam Hussain believed that education is the only solution to the quests of these people. Not only can it make them more educated but also self sufficient. The school started after getting a very small area with almost not construction and just a single mud constructed room with the roofs made of date tree leaves. But with the strong ambition and enthusiasm, Haji Ghulam Hussain and his family developed the school further and with some very strong opposition from some sources, still kept realizing his dream. The school was shifted to a 5 Marla Residence owned by Haji Ghulam Hussain after his death and has about 200 children studying. Recently, the school got affiliated with the Govt. of Punjab's foundation: PEF (Punjab Education Foundation) and the Govt. of Punjab is also now supporting the school to economically stabilize it. Recently, with the strong contribution of the Govt. of Punjab, the MMS has been able to purchase a 2 kanal area for the purpose of a bigger facility which would be working as the Boys and Girls Campus with the previous campus being made a Vocational Training Institute for Girls and Women of that area. If you believe you have a passion to help the people of Pakistan, You can help us build a better future to these students by:
Donating books, school bags, stationery items, uniforms, school shoes etc or by donating monetarily for the construction of the new building. All it takes is a little contribution from you resulting in an extraordinary bright future to these children
With great vision and enthusiasm, the MMS looks forward to your kind support!
