AL-Qadir Literary and Debating Society invites you to "گوشہ اقبال" (Gosha-e-Iqbal) on Wednesday, 24th May 2023 at 9:00 am in Auditorium. The event will begin with the recitation of the Holy Quran and Naat. Dr. Zulqarnain will share his brief keynote on "The Vision of Iqbal and Quran". There will be a poem recitation by each student in the event to revisit Iqbal and his visionary work, Kuliyaat e Iqbal. You all are welcome to participate and contribute to the event at your best. Looking forward to your worthy presence!

Happy World Poetry Day 21st March ,2023.

Ms. Aqsa Nusrat, Former Media Secretary is hereby appointed as the President of Al-Qadir Literary and Debating Society for period of Spring 2023. We believe, under her new role, the society will get nourished with her innovative ideas and inspiration towards executing reading circles, guest talks along with essay and debate competitions.

Al-Qadir Literary and Debating Society thanks to Mr. Ammar Basharat for his volunteer position as a president in the Fall 2022. Being the first president, LDS is grateful for his outstanding drive for the foundational work in the society and establishing its roots with his extra-ordinary wisdom and team leadership. We are looking forward to his participation in LDS with more strength and motivation in next academic year.

The launching ceremony of the poem on Al-Qadir by the eminent poet Mr. Maqsood Ahmed Gondal was organized by the Al-Qadir Literary & Debate Society on 6th March 2023. Fourteen (14) students in pair recited the English text of the poem with its Urdu translation on stage. Dr-Muhammad Zulqarnain shared the thought process of writing this poem and his earlier conversations with Mr. Maqsood on this poem. The poem eloquently highlights the spiritual aspects of AQUPT in the modern times behind its vision and values. Dr. Zulqarnain emphasized on the practical implication and reflection of Al-Qadir's values in its students to do justice with the poem and the efforts, Mr. Maqsood has put on it. By the end of the event, On behalf of the AQUPT Community, Mr. Muhammad Numan, Patron (LDS) and Incharge (Student Affairs), shared a note of thanks to Mr. Maqsood Ahmed for his soul-stirring and splendid poetry. He also thanked to and distributed certificates among the student organizers, Ms. Aqsa Nusrat, President (LDS), and Ms. Sawera Ajmal, General Secretary (LDS), and the students who participated in the event and recited the poem.

In the lap of surrounding nature
Emerged Al-Qadir with all its stature
ہر طرف سے احاطہ کرتی ہوئی فطرت کے دامن میں القادر یونیورسٹی اپنے تمام تر قدوقامت کے ساتھ ظہور میں آئی
This barren tract became a treasure
For human generations, without measure
یہ بنجر علاقہ نسل انسانی کے لیے بے حدوکنار خزانہ بن گیا
A dazzling stream that has burst
How many a soul would quench thirst
ایک روشن ندی پھوٹ پڑی ہے جو نہ جانے کتنے پیاسوں کی پیاس بجھائے گی
With Allah’s message its waters shine
Of Allah’s favour a clear sign
اللہ تعالی ٰکے پیغام کے ساتھاس ندی کا پانی تابناک ہے جو کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کی عطاکی واضح نشانی ہے
Breaking barriers it would gush
Who is there to check its rush
تمام رکاوٹوں کو توڑتی ہوئی یہ بہتی چلی جائے گی،کون ہے جو اس کی روانی کو روک سکے
Without discrimination it offers wealth
For man’s mental, spiritual health
انسان کی ذہنی اور روحانی صحت کے لیے یہ اپنے خزانے بغیر کسی امتیاز کے پیش کرتی ہے
Its mission to gather scattered wisdom
From high and low in Allah’s Kingdom
اس ادارے کا مشن یہ ہے کہ اللہ تعا لیٰ کی سلطنت میں بکھری ہوئی حکمت کو ہر اعلیٰ اور ادنیٰ سے اکھٹے کرنا
Like rainbow its colours do unfurl
Where finds its price every pearl
قوس قزح کی طرح اس (ادارے) کے رنگ کھلتے چلے جاتے ہیں ، جہاں ہر ہیرے کو اپنی اصل قیمت ملتی ہے
Holds it the mirror of Islamic law
See we direction without flaw
یہ (ادارہ) اسلامی ضابطے کا آئینہ اٹھائے ہوئے ہے جس میں ہم بغیر کسی نقص کے ہدایت پائے جاتے ہیں
Confluent streams make a force
Lifting veils direct our course
(یہاں مختلف علوم کی ) ندیا ںیکجا بہہ کر ایک طاقت بناتی ہیں جو پردوں کو چاک کر کے ہماری سمت کا تعین کرتی ہیں
Sharpens it human sight
Saying all knowledge is Allah’s light
یہ ادارہ انسان کی نگاہ کو تیز کرتا ہے یہ پرچار کر کے کہ ہر قسم کا علم اللہ ہی کا نور ہے
On a drop of water if we think
In Allah’s wisdom do we sink
اگر ہم پانی کے ایک قطرے پر غوروفکر کرتے ہیں تو ہم حقیقت میں اللہ ہی کی رحمت میں غوطہ زن ہوتے ہیں
Above art and science it does lift
Of highest wisdom granting gift
یہ ادارہ سائنس اور آرٹس کی تفریق سے ہماری نگاہوں کو بلند کر کے اعلیٰ ترین حکمت کا تحفہ عطا کرتا ہے
Whatever we read, whatever explore
Knock we actually at Allah’s door
ہم جو کچھ پڑھتے ہیں ، جس چیز کی جستجو کرتے ہیں حقیقت میں ہم اللہ تعالیٰ کے در پر ہی دستک دیتے ہیں
On this stream those who sail
Join they ocean without fail
اس ادارے کی ندی میں جو بھی تیرتا ہے آخرکار وہ اللہ تعالیٰ کی حکمت کے سمندر سے جاملتا ہے
Unification of intellects it does grant
The message of Oneness allowing to chant
(یہ ادارہ ) مختلف بصیرتوں کو یکجا کرکے توحید کے پیغام کا پرچار کرنے کا موقع فراہم کرتا ہے
In whatever branch we make abode
Bears it the crown of Islamic code
علم کی جس شاخ پر ہم بسیرا کرتے ہیں اس پر اسلامی ضابطہ حیات کا ہی تاج ہوتا ہے
On this land best they serve
Having faith, full of nerve
اللہ کی سر زمین پر سب سے بہتر وہی خدمت کرتے ہیں جو ایمان سے سرشار اور بہادر ہیں
Attains unto the ideal this running stream
لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ فِىٓ أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ
(اس ادارے کی) سیل رواں اس آئیڈل تک پہنچنے کے لیے کوشاں ہے کہ تحقیق ہم نے انسان کو بڑی خوبصورت شکل میں پیدا کیا
Comes it upto the challenge of this time
To restore man to that clime
یہ ادارہ اس دور کے سب سے بڑے چیلنج پر پورا اترنے کے لیے موجود ہے کی انسان اپنی کھوئی روحانی بلندی کی سلطنت کو دوبارہ حاصل کرے
With all progression see his plight
Remains His God out of sight
تمام تر ترقی کے باوجود انسان کی حالت زار دیکھیں کہ اس کا رب اس کی نگاہوں سے اوجھل ہے
To make feel God in scientific learning
This is Al-Qadir’s real earning
القادر یونیورسٹی کی اصل کمائی یہ ہے کہ وہ اپنے طلباء کو سائنسی علوم کی تعلیم میں اللہ تعالیٰ کے وجود کا احساس دلاتی ہے
Allah’s Zikr runs in veins
Whatever they learn in this domain
طلباء جس شعبے میں بھی تعلیم حاصل کریں ان کی رگوں میں اللہ تعالیٰ کا ذکر ہی چل رہا ہوتا ہے
Stands Al-Qadir in spiritual domain
In chaos of values as falling rain
القادر یونیورسٹی روحانیت کی سلطنت میں اخلاقی ابتری کے اس دور میں برستی ہوئی ابر رحمت کی طرح کھڑی ہے
Upholds it message of the Lord
To love knowledge is to love God
یہ ادرارہ اپنے رب کے اس پیغام کا علمبردار ہے کہ علم سے محبت کرنا اللہ تعالیٰ سے محبت کرنا ہے
To love knowledge is to love His Rasool
For spiritual ascension ,spiritual tool
علم سے محبت کرنا اللہ تعالیٰ کے رسول اللہ ﷺسے محبت کرنا ہے جو روحانی معراج کے لیے ایک روحانی ٹول ہے
Increase my knowledge, the Prophet’s prayer
In knowing thee better I may repair’
حضور ﷺکی یہ دعا ہے کہ اے میرے رب میرے علم میں اضافہ فرما تاکہ میں تجھے زیادہ بہتر جان سکوں
This is Al-Qadir’s glorious mission
Whatever we learn, in Allah’s submission.
القادر یونیورسٹی کا یہ عظیم مقصد ہے کہ جس شعبے کا بھی علم حاصل کریں ،اللہ تعالیٰ کی اطاعت میں کریں
