گورنمنٹ کالج جھنگ کے شعبۂ ریاضی کے ممتاز اور قابلِ احترام اساتذۂ کرام میں پروفیسر پرویز اقبال قریشی صاحب کا نام ہمیشہ عزت و احترام سے یاد کیا جائے گا۔
آپ 13 اپریل 1950ء کو گوجرہ میں پیدا ہوئے۔ ابتدائی تعلیم بھی گوجرہ ہی سے حاصل کی، جبکہ ریاضی میں ماسٹرز کی ڈگری گورنمنٹ کالج فیصل آباد سے حاصل کی۔
آپ نے 1980ء میں گورنمنٹ غزالی کالج جھنگ سے اپنے تدریسی سفر کا آغاز کیا۔ جھنگ کی فضا، آب و ہوا، یہاں کے لوگ اور علمی ماحول اس قدر پسند آیا کہ 1992ء میں سیٹلائٹ ٹاؤن جھنگ میں مستقل سکونت اختیار کر لی۔ اسی سال آپ کا تبادلہ گورنمنٹ کالج جھنگ میں ہوا، جہاں آپ نے اپنی باقی ماندہ تدریسی زندگی گزاری۔
13 اپریل 2010ء کو آپ ریٹائر ہوئے، مگر ایک استاد کبھی حقیقتاً ریٹائر نہیں ہوتا۔ آپ نے تقریباً اٹھارہ برس تک ہزاروں طلبہ کو ریاضی کی تعلیم دی اور ان کی زندگیاں سنوارنے میں اہم کردار ادا کیا۔ آپ نہ صرف ایک باصلاحیت استاد تھے بلکہ شفیق، مخلص اور طلبہ دوست شخصیت کے مالک بھی تھے۔
24 نومبر 2020ء کو یہ عظیم استاد اس دنیائے فانی سے رخصت ہو گئے، مگر اپنے شاگردوں کے دلوں میں آج بھی زندہ ہیں۔ آپ کے بے شمار شاگرد مختلف شعبہ ہائے زندگی میں خدمات انجام دے رہے ہیں، جو یقیناً آپ کے لیے بہترین صدقۂ جاریہ ہیں۔
اللہ تعالیٰ پروفیسر پرویز اقبال صاحب کو جنت الفردوس میں اعلیٰ مقام عطا فرمائے، ان کی مغفرت فرمائے اور ان کے علمی فیض کو ہمیشہ جاری رکھے۔ آمین ثم آمین۔

Students actively participated in activities related to cleanliness saving energy conserving water staying organized maintaining a neat and clean uniform and student awareness about responsibility in daily life.
These activities helped develop discipline character and a sense of responsibility among students.
We believe that true education builds responsible and positive citizens for the future.
