📢 ELT Learning Hub – First Official Meeting
Yesterday, we successfully conducted our first meeting of ELT Learning Hub, a student-led academic initiative by final-year (2K23-BATCH) English Language Teaching students, studying at the Institute of English Language and Literature (IELL), University of Sindh, Jamshoro. The meeting focused on planning, organizing, and setting clear objectives for our professional learning community.
During the session, we discussed the purpose of the Hub, which is to enhance our academic, teaching, and leadership skills through structured activities such as presentations, debates, panel discussions, micro-teaching sessions, and mock interviews. We also emphasized the importance of integrating modern technology and AI tools into English language classrooms to prepare ourselves for 21st-century teaching environments.
We agreed to organize regular Presentation Days, technology sessions, and skill-development activities to promote collaborative learning and professional growth. Every member will actively participate and contribute to creating a productive academic environment.
This meeting marks the beginning of a journey toward becoming confident, competent, and innovative English language educators.
We are excited for what lies ahead.
