The session provided cadets with valuable insights into career planning, professional development, and future aspirations, drawing upon the Chief Guest’s professional experience and guidance.

On the occasion, Commandant & Principal Commodore Faisal Iqbal Qazi SI(M), presented a souvenir to the distinguished guest as a token of respect and appreciation.

PSSO Defence Day Athletics Championship 2026 | Cadet College Petaro

Cadet College Petaro proudly participated in the Pakistan School Sports Organization (PSSO) Defence Day Athletics Championship 2026, held in Karachi. Our cadets delivered outstanding performances, demonstrating dedication, discipline, determination, teamwork, and a strong sporting spirit.

The cadets secured numerous medals in individual events across the Under-13, Under-15, and Under-17 age categories. They also achieved excellent results in the 4 × 100-Metre Relay, securing Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medals in different age groups.

In recognition of their exceptional performances, Cadet College Petaro cadets were declared Best Athletes in the Under-15 and Under-17 categories. The college also proudly secured the Overall Runner-Up Trophy in the Under-13, Under-15, and Under-17 categories.

These remarkable achievements reflect the commitment, hard work, and dedication of our cadets, coaches, and sports staff. Their success brings great pride to Cadet College Petaro and highlights the college's commitment to promoting excellence in sports.

Cadet College Petaro proudly organized an Award Ceremony to recognize and celebrate the outstanding academic achievements of its cadets.

The ceremony began with the presentation of Academic Excellence Badges and Certificates to cadets who secured top positions in the Class O-II Annual Examination 2025–26 and the Class X BISE Hyderabad Annual Examination 2025–26. The Final of the Inter-House Cricket Tournament (Seniors) was held at Cadet College Petaro between Latif House and Sachal House. Both teams played with great skill, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. After an exciting match, Sachal House won the final and became the Champions of the Senior Cricket Tournament.

Department of Career Counselling | Orientation Session | Cadet College Petaro

On 11 September, the Department of Career Counselling, Cadet College Petaro, organized an orientation session in the Quaid Hall for the preparation of MDCAT, ECAT, IELTS, and SAT.

The session was attended by the XI, As - XII, A-II cadets. Alhamdulillah, the session was conducted successfully and proved to be highly informative and fruitful for the cadets.

The coordinators, Mrs. Ayesha Sehar (MDCAT & ECAT), Mrs. Sumeera Khalid (SAT), and Mr. Manzoor Panhwar (IELTS), conducted the session with great dedication and professionalism. They performed their respective responsibilities remarkably well and shared essential and practical information regarding the preparation, requirements, and overall scope of MDCAT, ECAT, IELTS, and SAT with the cadets.

The session provided the cadets with valuable guidance and a clearer understanding of these important entrance and language assessment tests.

Inter-House Football Tournament Finals 2026–27 | Cadet College Petaro

The Finals of the Inter-House Football Tournament for Juniors and Seniors were held at Cadet College Petaro. The matches showcased the talent, teamwork, discipline, determination, and sportsmanship of the cadets.

In the Senior Category, Ayub House faced Latif House, with Latif House emerging as the champions. In the Junior Category, Liaquat House defeated Sachal House to become champions. Both matches were exciting and highly competitive, with the cadets demonstrating excellent football skills, teamwork, determination, and team spirit.

The Commandant & Principal, Commodore Faisal Iqbal Qazi SI(M), graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and presented the championship trophies to Latif House (Senior) and Liaquat House (Junior).

Defence Day Celebration | CHIEF GUEST MR. MUNAWAR ALI MAHESAR | SECRETARY SPORTS & YOUTH AFFAIRS, GOVERNMENT OF SINDH | Cadet College Petaro

On 6th September 2026, Cadet College Petaro observed Defence Day with great respect and patriotism at Sir Syed Hall. The program began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the National Anthem and a patriotic milli naghma presented by the cadets.

Following the milli naghma, awards and certificates were presented by the Chief Guest, Mr. Munawar Ali Mahesar, Secretary for Sports and Youth Affairs, Government of Sindh, to recognize the outstanding discipline and performance of cadets and Houses.

Most Disciplined Cadet Award

This award was presented to cadets who demonstrated exemplary discipline, conduct, and personal integrity throughout the respective month.

The event paid tribute to the sacrifices of our national heroes and inspired cadets to uphold the values of courage, discipline, unity, patriotism, and excellence.
