The end of exams at LGS Islamabad was celebrated with a lively winter-themed event filled with color, laughter, and shared treats.
Students relaxed, bonded with friends, and created joyful memories, marking a cheerful close to the term before the winter break.

Learners proudly participated in the Mathletics competition, showcasing great excitement, energy, and a passion for learning. Our young mathematicians performed exceptionally well throughout the finale.

LGS PYP IB celebrated Letarati Day with great enthusiasm! The event, captioned "Latte and Literature," was a unique experience for our young learners. As they sipped on hot chocolate, they immersed themselves in the world of books, exploring the works of various authors. The activities were engaging and interactive, ranging from crafting book covers to writing about the authors' contributions. It was a wonderful way to foster a love for reading and literature among our students.

# Islamabad Mainstream kicked off the Literati celebrations with a vibrant book fair where students eagerly explored a variety of genres and discovered new authors.
The activity nurtured their love for reading while strengthening decision-making skills as they thoughtfully selected books of their choice.

PG Mainstream students explored creativity and learning side by side! 🎨⛄ They enjoyed free hand painting and crafted their very own melting snowman. Moreover, they practiced counting till 4 and learned about the square shape by making a square frame using 4 popsicle sticks, adding colourful handprints inside. A perfect blend of imagination and early learning! 💛📚✨

Grade 5 students created shadows using different objects to learn how light travels in a straight line and forms shadows. They observed how changing the light’s distance and direction affects the size and shape of shadows in a fun, hands-on activity.

Excellent Performers in ICATS Math Contest

Congratulations to our excellent performers, who demonstrated strong problem-solving skills and consistent effort. They were awarded the ICATS badges and certificates for their commendable performance:

Grade V began the theme How We Express Ourselves by exploring advertisements and discussing how messages are conveyed visually and verbally. Through the See–Think–Wonder routine, they identified persuasive strategies and reflected on how media influences our choices.

Grade IV learners explored simplifying and mixed fractions through a video and then wrote reflections to express their understanding. This activity strengthened their thinking, communication, and self-management skills.

Grade 3 students confidently recapped the topic of Floods, explaining causes and effects in groups. They were then introduced to Storms through an engaging sound provocation and discussion, helping them build listening, communication, and critical-thinking skills.

Grade 4 students researched animals of the African savannah and created informative lapbooks about their chosen animal’s habitat, features, diet, and survival. This creative activity helped them understand animal life in Africa while presenting their learning in their own words.
