Financial Performance Evaluation Competition
Guideline for Financial Analysis Report
Select any two companies and study their last 3 years (2023,2024,2025) annual, financial reports. Prepare a comparative financial analysis report by analyzing the financial decisions and financial performance of both companies.
First you should give an introduction of both companies, analyze them and after that differentiate between them.
Students must select any five topics out of the following ten financial decision areas and prepare their complete report and presentation based on those selected areas.

Submission Requirements
Select any five topics from the above ten financial decision areas. (12,13 are must)
Prepare a detailed comparative financial analysis report on both companies.
The report must be prepared in a Word document format.
Submit the report in printed hard form.
Prepare a short presentation based on your report.
Your presentation should be 7 minutes long.
Students will present their selected topics and analysis through the presentation.
There should be 2 students in each group.
The registration deadline is May 15 2026.
Please register your names and company names before deadline.
Students must first show their report and presentation to Society Incharge Dr. Warda Nadeem on May 19, 2026.
The final competition/presentation will be held on May 21, 2026.

Today, on *30th April 2026* , the *NUML Finance Society* organized an academic visit to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) at ISE Towers, Jinnah Avenue, Islamabad, under the supervision of *Dr. Warda Nadeem* (In-charge, NFS). The primary objective of the visit was to bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical exposure by providing finance students with firsthand insights into the functioning of financial markets.
During the visit, industry professionals *Mr. Moazzam Ali Khan* , a broker from Zahid Latif Khan Securities (Pvt.) Ltd., and *Mr. Saqib Ali* , Assistant Manager at Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited, delivered comprehensive and structured presentations to *final-year finance students* . The sessions covered key aspects of stock market operations, trading mechanisms, brokerage services, and fundamental investment principles. Through interactive discussions, students developed a deeper understanding of the role of stock exchange in facilitating efficient interaction between investors and listed companies.
In addition, participants examined various types of investment accounts, evaluated sectoral performance trends, and gained practical awareness of essential risk management strategies. This experiential learning opportunity significantly enhanced students’ analytical capabilities, critical thinking, and informed decision-making skills, which are vital for professional development in finance.
