On February 13, 2026, a One-Day Symposium on Quantum Science and Technology was jointly organized by The Qubit Pakistan Society, the Department of Physics, Quaid-i-Azam University, and the Department of Physics, Women University Mardan. The symposium was led by Principal Organizers Prof. Dr. Gul Rahman, Professor of Physics at Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, and Dr. Ambreen Ayub, Assistant Professor of Physics and Head of the Department of Physics, Women University Mardan.

The event featured invited talks from four distinguished experts in the field of quantum technologies: Dr. Muzammil Shah, Founder of The Qubit Pakistan Society; Dr. Shakir Ullah, Co-Founder of The Qubit Pakistan Society; Dr. Sajid, Assistant Professor of Physics at Kohat University of Science and Technology; and Dr. Javed, Lecturer of Physics at Malakand University.

The symposium commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran. The scientific program began with a talk by Dr. Muzammil Shah on “Quantum 2D Materials.” He was followed by Dr. Sajid, who presented on “How Precisely Can We Measure? From Classical to Quantum Sensing.” Subsequently, Dr. Shakir Ullah delivered a talk on “From Classical Computing to Quantum Computing.” The final presentation was given by Dr. Javed on “The Logic Revolution: From Classical Systems to Quantum Intelligence.”

The session concluded with an interactive question-and-answer segment, during which students engaged enthusiastically, posing insightful questions that reflected their keen interest in the subject matter. The symposium received overwhelmingly positive feedback from both the student attendees and the principal organizers, marking it as a highly successful and intellectually stimulating event.
