HEC - Ehsaas Scholarship Pakistan

📣📣Applications open on Sunday, July 19, for the Special HAT for aspirants of Commonwealth, Chinese Government and other HEC Scholarships for MS/M.Phil. and Ph.D./Doctoral programmes.

Education Testing Council ETC-HEC in collaboration with the School Education Department Government of Balochistan and the Project Management Unit, Balochistan Education Support Program (PMU-BESP) successfully conducted the aptitude test for 400 scholarships for female students seeking admission to four-year B.Ed./BS (Education) programmes.

A total of 3,147 candidates registered, with 1,694 appearing for the test at 14 centres across Balochistan, including Quetta, Gwadar, Turbat, Khuzdar, Hub, Zhob, Sibi, and other cities. The examination was conducted under standardized procedures with 253 invigilators and 14 Monitoring Officers ensuring transparency and merit.

During his visit to the test centre at the University of Balochistan, Quetta, Secretary, School Education Department, Government of Balochistan, Mr. Lal Khan Jaffar, appreciated the professional arrangements and transparent conduct of the examination.

The successful province-wide test marks another step towards expanding merit-based higher education opportunities for female students in Balochistan.

The Education Testing Council (ETC-HEC) and Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU), Islamabad, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the conduct of the Undergraduate Studies Admission Test (USAT) for Fall 2026 admissions.

Under this collaboration, the USAT will serve as the admission test for QAU’s undergraduate programmes. To facilitate students across the country, ETC-HEC will administer the test in 12 cities nationwide under six USAT categories, ensuring greater accessibility and promoting a transparent, merit-based admissions process.

The MoU was signed by Dr. Muhammad Imtiaz Haider, Consultant Education Testing Council ETC-HEC and Dr. Amir Waseem, Chairman of the Admissions Committee, QAU and Senior officials from both institutions also attended the signing ceremony.

This partnership reflects the shared commitment of ETC-HEC and QAU to academic excellence, fairness, and equal opportunities in higher education.

✨ The Law Admission Test (LAT) scheduled for June 21, 2026, has been postponed for candidates from Muzaffarabad and Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) only.
