The Department of Islamic Studies, Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University (STMU), Park Road Campus, organized an insightful and intellectually enriching seminar on the topic:
“The Palestinian Cause. The Role of the Ummah After Tufan al-Aqsa”

The purpose of the seminar was to create awareness among students and faculty members regarding the current situation in Palestine and to highlight the responsibilities of the Muslim Ummah in the post–Tufan al-Aqsa era.

Distinguished Guests:
The event was honored by the presence of renowned international speakers:

• Dr. Muaz Muhammad (Jordan)
Chairman, Advisory Council at the Endowment of Science and Technology, Jordan

• Dr. Mussana Amin (Iraq)
Member, Iraqi Parliament of Kurdistan Islamic Union, Head of International Relations, Kurdistan Islamic Union.

• Mr. Mehmet Ozturk (Türkiye)
Senior Journalist, Formerly associated with TRT Arabic (Official Channel of Türkiye), Former Editor-in-Chief.

Faculty members and a large number of students from various departments actively participated in the seminar, making the session interactive and engaging.

Their questions and comments reflected a strong interest in understanding the evolving dimensions of the Palestinian cause.

At the conclusion of the program, Dr. Muhammad Rashid expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the honorable guests for their valuable contributions. He presented shields to the speakers as a token of appreciation.

Finally, Dr. Attaullah Watto ended the session with a heartfelt duʿā, praying for the people of Palestine and for the unity, strength, and awakening of the Muslim Ummah.

The seminar proved to be a meaningful academic and moral contribution, reinforcing solidarity with the Palestinian people and reminding the Ummah of its collective responsibilities.
