ICONS Digital Library: An online Platform

Work on development of ICONS Digital Library is in full swing. Collection of materials is a continuous and lifelong process. By the grace of Allah Almighty the ICONS team members all over the country are fully contributing to collect contents for this purpose. The Digital library will be an online platform where one can access all the available books and resources in free.
The Digital Library initially will have following sections:
1. Books
2. Manuscripts
3. Research articles
4.Ph.D Thesis
5. Built Heritage
Moreover, Suffa Islamic Library in Islamabad will be connected with Tasawf Library Karachi and Suffa Islamic Library Skardu to facilitate readers and researchers to access maximum number of books and manuscripts.

ICONS continues to work for promoting knowledge about the teachings of Hazrat Imam Syed Muhammad Noorbakhsh and other prominent Mashaikh of the Noorbakhshi Sufi order. One of the ongoing initiatives is supporting NYF to arrange Study Circles for youth.

کتاب الاعتقاد یہ کا انتہائی قیمتی اور غالبا واحد دستیاب قلمی نسخہ جو راقم کی ملکیت ہے تمام اہل ایمان کیلئے برائے ملاحظہ پیش خدمت ہے۔ یہ عظیم کامیابی حقیر کی پچھلی دو دہائیوں پر مشتمل تحقیق و جستجو کا ثمرہ ہے۔ اس کا کاتب میر عبداللہ عراقی فرزند میر مختار اخیار قدس اللہ سرہ ہے اور سال کتابت اندازا” 1156 ہجری ہے۔
میر مختار اخیار نے کتاب کا فارسی ترجمہ سراج الایمان کے نام سے کیا تھا یہ وہی ترجمہ ہے۔حضرت امام سید محمد نوربخش قدس اللہ سرہ کی تصنیف کردہ یہ کتاب علم کلام کی عظیم شاہکار ہے۔ اہل علم کو چاہیے کہ اس کا دقیق مطالعہ کریں اور شرحیں لکھ کر خزینہ علم میں اپنا حصہ ڈالیں ۔

Under its ‘Youth Leadership and Communication Skills Development Program’ ICONS supports youth organisations in arranging fruitful events. In this regard, ICONS is guiding and facilitating NYF Islamabad to conduct regular sessions for students focused on enhancing their knowledge, skills and attitudes with the objective of nurturing future leaders for the society.

Tazkira Sufia- Baltistan, Kargil, Ladakh is a pioneer book on the lives and works of the great SUFIS who served in Baltistan, Kargil and Ladakh during 1301-2000 AD. The book is the result of almost 10 years of extensive travels and research in the region by the author.

نگران وزیر صحت جناب ڈاکٹر نیاز علی نے اسلام آباد میں اسلامک سنٹر آف نوربخشی سٹڈیز (ICONS) کا دورہ کیا۔ انجمن محمدیہ صوفیہ نوربخشیہ کے اراکین، عمائدین اسلام آباداور ڈائریکٹر ICONS سید اکبر علی نے معزز مہمانوں کا استقبال کیا اور ڈاکٹر نیاز علی صاحب کو وزیرصحت کا قلمدان سنبھالنے پر مبارک باد دی۔ اس موقع پر منعقدہ تقریب سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے وزیر محترم نے انجمن کی طرف سے ICONS اورصفہ اسلامک لائبریری کے قیام کا خیرمقدم کیا اور اس بات پر زور دیا کہ اس لائبریری کی سہولیات تک بلا لحاظ مذہب و ملت ہر ایک کی رسائی ہونی چاہیے۔ انہوں نے لائبریری کے لیئے اپنی طرف سے مبلغ پانچ لاکھ روپے عطیہ کا اعلان کیا۔
اس موقع پر جناب عبدالخالق صاحب (ایس پی ریٹائرڈ) نے لائبریری کیلئے کتابوں کا سیٹ عطیہ کیا اور
جناب حاجی انور میچونگپہ صاحب نے مبلغ ایک لاکھ روپے عطیہ کا اعلان کیا۔
بارگاہ ایزدی میں دعا ہے کہ اللہ پاک ان تینوں شخصیات کی توفیقات میں اضافہ فرمائے اور دین و دنیا میں کامیابی عطا کرے۔ آمین

The first lecture of the series held at ICONS conference hall in Islamabad. A large number of people attended the inspiring session today.
Addressing the gathering, the Speakers underlined the importance of preserving the grand Islamic intellectual heritage of
Noorbakhshi Sufi saints and scholars.

Specifically Sheikh Junaid Baghdadi, Ahmad Ghazali, Abur Rehman Isfraini, Alauddaula Simnani, Shah Hamdan, Imam Muhammad Noorbakhsh, Asiri Lahiji, Mir Mukhtar Akhiyar, Mir Najmuddin Saqib, Akhond Sultan Ali and many others have contributed a tremendously to the intellectual and spiritual knowledge heritage of Islam.
In the present history, Allama Muhammad Bashir has been an ICON of Noorbakhshi scholarship.
