Building a stronger foundation for young learners begins with a shared commitment to educational excellence.
As part of ECECP’s ongoing efforts to promote quality Montessori and Early Childhood Education, our Director visited Dr. A.Q. Khan School, Bahria Town, Rawalpindi, for a productive and forward-looking discussion. The conversation focused on advancing early years education, strengthening teacher development, and exploring effective approaches to enrich learning experiences for children.
The visit concluded on a positive note, with a shared vision for supporting educational growth and fostering excellence in early childhood learning. We look forward to the positive outcomes that such initiatives will bring to educators, schools, and young learners alike.

Why Do Teenagers Get Angry So Easily? 😔💭
Many parents say:
"My child used to be sweet, calm, and obedient. Now they get irritated over the smallest things, argue back, slam doors, or suddenly stop talking."
It's easy to assume that a teenager has become rude or rebellious. However, child psychology tells us something different: anger during the teenage years is often a reflection of the major changes happening inside them, not simply bad behavior.
Here are some of the reasons why teenagers may seem angry or emotional:
🔹 Their Brain Is Still Developing
The part of the brain responsible for emotions develops faster than the part responsible for reasoning and self-control. As a result, teens often react emotionally before they can think things through calmly.
🔹 Hormonal Changes Affect Mood
During adolescence, hormones increase significantly and can influence emotions, energy levels, and mood swings. Sometimes teenagers themselves don't understand why they feel upset or frustrated.
🔹 They Are Searching for Independence
Teenagers want to be heard, respected, and trusted. When they feel overly controlled or treated like young children, they may respond with anger as they try to establish their own identity.
🔹 They Often Feel Misunderstood
One of the most common feelings among teenagers is: "No one understands me." When they feel judged, compared to others, or constantly corrected, they may withdraw or express their frustration through anger.
💡 Positive Parenting Tips
✔ Don't take their anger personally.
✔ Stay calm when they are upset.
✔ Acknowledge their feelings instead of dismissing them.
✔ Offer choices rather than giving constant commands.
✔ Create a safe space where they feel heard and accepted.
✨ Remember: Behind every angry teenager is often a young person struggling to understand their emotions, identity, and place in the world. What they need most is not more criticism, but patience, understanding, and connection.
