CEGS Students' Fun-Filled Trip to Abbottabad.

Our CEGS, QAU students enjoyed a refreshing day trip to beautiful Abbottabad, organized by the CEGS Society! From scenic views to delicious local food, it was the perfect break from our studies.

We explored new places, shared lots of laughter, and made unforgettable memories together. These trips remind us how important it is to balance work and play.

A day of insight and action at NDMA .

Our students from the Centre of Excellence in Gender Studies (CEGS) at Quaid-i-Azam University recently attended an impactful seminar at the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA). The panel discussion focused on "Standardization of Gender-Responsive Emergency Kits in Humanitarian Response," providing valuable insights into how disaster preparedness can better address women's specific needs. During the visit, students actively engaged with experts and explored various NGO stalls, learning about innovative approaches to inclusive disaster management. This hands-on experience perfectly complemented their academic knowledge, highlighting the importance of gender-sensitive policies in emergency response. A special thanks to NDMA for organizing this enlightening session and to all participating organizations for sharing their valuable work!

جینڈر اسٹڈیز ڈپارٹمنٹ کی سوسائٹی سانحہ اے پی ایس کے شہداء کی یاد میں ایک دعائیہ تقریب اور شمع روشن کرنے کی محفل منعقد کر رہی ہے۔ یہ تقریب 16 دسمبر بروز سوموار، سہ پہر 3 بج کر 30 منٹ پر جینڈر اسٹڈیز ڈپارٹمنٹ کے سامنے ہوگی۔

تمام طلباء و طالبات اور اساتذہ سے گزارش ہے کہ اس دن کالے کپڑے پہن کر آئیں، یا اگر ممکن نہ ہو تو کالی پٹی اپنے بازو پر باندھ کر شریک ہوں۔
آئیں مل کر اس سانحے کے متاثرین کو یاد کریں اور ان کے لیے دعا کریں۔

جینڈر اسٹڈیز ڈیپارٹمنٹ کی سوسائٹی نے ایک سٹڈی سرکل کا انعقاد کیا، جس کی سپیکر میم ڈاکٹر عالیہ امیرالی تھیں۔ موضوع تھا: طلبہ سیاست۔ طلبہ نے بھرپور شرکت کی، جینڈر اسٹڈیز کے ساتھ دیگر ڈیپارٹمنٹس کے طلبہ بھی شامل تھے۔ ایسی علمی نشستیں طلبہ کو فکری رہنمائی دیتی ہیں
