"They were not of those who prayed and used not to feed the poor."

"Recite, [O Muhammad], what has been revealed to you of the Book and establish prayer. Indeed, prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing, and the remembrance of Allah is greater. And Allah knows that which you do."

"So woe to those who pray but are heedless of their prayer - those who make show [of their deeds] and withhold [simple] assistance."

"Righteousness is not that you turn your faces toward the east or the west, but [true] righteousness is in one who believes in Allah, the Last Day, the Angels, the Book, and the Prophets and gives his wealth, in spite of love for it, to relatives, orphans, the needy, the traveler, those who ask [for help], and for freeing slaves; and [who] establishes prayer and gives zakah..."

The Prophet (peace be upon him) stated:
"The first thing a servant will be questioned about on the Day of Resurrection is his prayer. If it is sound, he will succeed, and if it is not sound, he will fail."

𝗦𝗮𝗵𝗶𝗵 𝗕𝘂𝗸𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶

"Whoever establishes prayer has established his religion, and whoever neglects it has neglected his religion."

In today’s fast-paced world, we often hear the phrase, “𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲.” But according to 𝐈𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐦, time holds a 𝐟𝐚𝐫 𝐝𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐫 significance. It's not just a means to earn wealth, but an opportunity to 𝐬𝐮𝐛𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐡, 𝐬𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞, and 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐞𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐝𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬. 🌿

The 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐭 𝐌𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐝 (𝐏𝐁𝐔𝐇) taught us the importance of utilizing time wisely, warning against wasting it on trivial matters.

He said:
"There are two blessings which many people lose: 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 and 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐝𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝."
(𝐒𝐚𝐡𝐢𝐡 𝐚𝐥-𝐁𝐮𝐤𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢 𝟔𝟒𝟏𝟐)

While wealth may come and go, the time we spend in service to Allah and humanity is what truly counts. Islam reminds us that time is a gift a 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐡 and we will be held 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 for how we use it.

Money? It’s 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐚 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐥, a means to fulfill our responsibilities and help others. The real wealth lies in 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐞 𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞, to aim for 𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 in the Hereafter. 💫

Wasting time in frivolous activities without any benefit for one's faith or life can be seen as sinful, especially if it leads to missing obligatory duties like 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐡 (𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫), 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲, or seeking beneficial 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞.

Let’s reflect:
Are we using our 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐡 and serve others? Or are we chasing the fleeting 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝?
