IIT Society has invited Dr. Rafiq Ahmad from university of Alberta(bio & abstract attached) for delivering a talk on Robotics Titled: "Humans and Machines: A Symbiotic Relationship Shaping Innovation on Earth and Beyond" on Tuesday 17th of December at 10:30 AM in the IIT seminar hall.
Dr. Rafiq Ahmad, Associate Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alberta. Founder and director of the “Smart & Sustainable Manufacturing Systems Laboratory (SMART Lab)” and “Aquaponics 4.0 Learning Factory (AllFactory)”, which focuses on advanced sustainable manufacturing systems design and engineering. His research interests include smart engineering systems design and development, digitization, learning factories design and development, large-scale additive manufacturing and industrial robotics, lean manufacturing, and green technologies. Dr. Rafiq Ahmad has a Ph.D. in advanced manufacturing from Ecole Centrale de Nantes, France.

Eid Milad un Nabi (S.A.W) was celebrated in IT department with great enthusiasm. Naatia kalams were recited by different participants which explicits their deep love and extreme devotion towards Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W.).
