Mehfil-e-Milaad was held on 28th August 2026 at IMS (I–V) No. 1, G-9/2, Islamabad. The programme was attended and actively participated in by students and teachers. The event commenced with Tilawat-e-Quran Pak, followed by Naat-e-Rasool ﷺ, speeches, and other Islamic presentations highlighting the blessed life and teachings of Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ. Students participated with great enthusiasm and discipline. The programme concluded with Dua for the peace, prosperity, and well-being of the country and the Muslim Ummah. The event was conducted successfully and created a respectful and spiritual atmosphere among the students.

Report on Independence Day Celebration – 14th August

The Independence Day of Pakistan was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit at the school on 14th August. The programme began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by Naat and the National Anthem.

Students participated actively in speeches, national songs, tableaus, and other patriotic activities. They beautifully expressed their love for Pakistan and paid tribute to the sacrifices of our national heroes. The school premises were decorated with Pakistani flags and green-and-white decorations.

The V.Principal appreciated the efforts of the teachers and students and highlighted the importance of unity, discipline, hard work, and responsibility in building a prosperous Pakistan. The ceremony concluded with prayers for the progress, peace, and prosperity of our beloved country.

Module: Effective Community Engagement Strategies for Educators

Day 4 of the Internal Continuous Professional Development (ICPD) training focused on Effective Community Engagement Strategies for Educators. The session was conducted by Ms. Rabia Habib and Ms. Farah Deeba.

The training began with an introduction to community engagement, followed by a discussion on its importance and why it is essential for Pakistan's education system. Participants learned practical ways to build trust with parents, students, and other stakeholders. The resource persons also explained effective outreach strategies, methods for tailoring community engagement activities, and communication skills, while highlighting common mistakes educators should avoid.

The session concluded with a question-and-answer discussion and key takeaways. Overall, the training was informative, interactive, and provided practical strategies to strengthen collaboration between schools and the community for improved student learning outcomes.

The Internal Continuous Professional Development (CPD) session on Financial Governance & Management was conducted on July 29, 2026, at Islamabad Model School (I–V) No. 1, G-9/2, Islamabad, under the facilitation of Ms. Nahida Bibi and Ms. Bushra Kaleem. The session began with an introduction and pre-assessment, followed by module-wise training covering financial governance, budget planning, budget ex*****on, digital financial tools, record keeping, and audit preparation.
The training remained interactive with discussions and short activities to engage participants. A key feature of the session was the hands-on practice conducted in the computer lab, where teachers applied the learned concepts practically. Participants worked on computers to practice budget preparation, financial record management, and use of digital tools for monitoring and reporting. They were guided step-by-step to ensure proper understanding and skill development.
The session concluded with a post-assessment, feedback, and closing remarks. Overall, the CPD was effective in enhancing teachers’ conceptual understanding as well as practical skills, particularly through the computer-based activities which strengthened their ability to implement financial management processes in a real school context.

Islamabad Model School (I–V) No. 1, G-9/2, Islamabad conducted Day 2 of the Internal Continuous Professional Development (ICPD): Capacity Building & Digital Integration Module on 28 July 2026. The training was facilitated by Ms. Komal Jabeen Mughal and Ms. Naila Tahir.

The day began with a pre-training assessment, followed by an interactive session on writing professional emails. Participants also explored AI tools and prompt engineering for content generation, learned to create effective presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint, and practiced using AI tools for presentations and data-related tasks. The programme concluded with a post-training assessment and a wrap-up session, enabling participants to reflect on their learning and strengthen their digital and professional skills for effective teaching.

An Internal Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Training on Capacity Building & Digital Integration was conducted at Islamabad Model School (I–V) No. 1, G-9/2, Islamabad on 27 July 2026. The training was facilitated by Ms. Samirra Alam and Ms. Rukhsana Mubashir.

The session began with a walkthrough of the training plan followed by a Pre-training Diagnostic Assessment to evaluate participants' prior knowledge. Module 1 focused on MS Word Essentials, including page setup, formatting, tables, equations, and creating MCQ bullet lists to improve document preparation skills.

Module 2 covered Assessment Paper Setting, emphasizing blueprinting, Bloom's Taxonomy, and quality moderation to enhance the preparation of effective and balanced assessments. After a tea break and an energizer activity, Module 3 introduced the NIETE App, highlighting staff onboarding procedures and the use of micro-learning for continuous professional development.

The training concluded with a Post-training Reflection, preparation of Departmental Action Plans, and a Closing Feedback session. The workshop was highly informative and practical, enabling teachers to strengthen their digital skills, improve assessment practices, and integrate technology effectively into teaching and learning. The participants appreciated the interactive sessions and expressed their commitment to implementing the newly acquired knowledge in their classrooms.

Prep Class Summer Vacation Party

A joyful Summer Vacation Party was organized for the Prep Class to celebrate before the summer vacation.The classroom was beautifully decorated with colorful balloons and charts, creating a cheerful atmosphere for the children.

The students participated in fun activities and enjoyed exciting games such as Musical Chairs .They enthusiastically sang songs, and shared happy moments with their classmates. Refreshments were also served, which added to the enjoyment of the day.

The party concluded with best wishes for a safe and enjoyable summer vacation. The students left with smiling faces and wonderful memories.
