Venue: Smart Classroom, Academic Complex, Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad

The faculty and PhD students of CeLTS, AIOU warmly welcomed the PhD students of English Linguistics department, University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir. CeLTS family showed them the department and the corpus lab. The students from both universities discussed various aspects in their specified research domain.

Recharging in the Hills.

CeLTS faculty took a well-deserved break and enjoyed some leisure time in the beautiful hills of Baragali and Murree. Refreshing minds and rejuvenating spirits.

Akhtar Ali, PhD scholar at CeLTS, AIOU, presented his research on "Multimodal Pragmatics in Digital Entertainment" at the International Conference on English Studies at CUST Islamabad on April 10, 2025.

Exploring the intersections of language, visuals, and paralinguistic features in YouTube content, this study sheds light on the complexities of digital communication.

Fostering Academic Ties.

Dr. Ishtiaq Ahmad, Registrar, University of Chakwal, met CeLTS family at AIOU to discuss mutual collaboration and academic growth. Looking forward to fruitful partnerships.
