The session highlighted the importance of understanding perspectives, listening beyond words, and building meaningful human connections in both personal and professional life. Through engaging discussion, real-life experiences, and interactive reflections, participants were reminded that empathy is not merely an emotion, but a leadership strength and an essential life skill.

Today, NUST HRD successfully conducted an engaging session on Library Outreach, Marketing & Branding for Internal Employeesan initiative aimed at strengthening awareness and enhancing the utilization of our valuable library resources.
The session focused on reimagining the role of libraries in a modern workplace—moving beyond traditional functions to becoming dynamic hubs of knowledge, collaboration, and innovation. Participants explored effective strategies for outreach, internal branding, and employee engagement, ensuring that library services remain visible, relevant, and impactful.

A specialized faculty development training session titled “Teaching Gen Z” was successfully conducted with the objective of equipping educators with contemporary pedagogical strategies aligned with the learning preferences and behavioral patterns of Generation Z learners.
The training focused on developing a deeper understanding of Gen Z students, who are digital natives characterized by short attention spans, high visual engagement, a strong preference for technology-enabled learning, and an expectation for interactive, purpose-driven education. Participants were introduced to the evolving mindset of Gen Z and how traditional teaching methods require adaptation to remain effective and impactful.
