Education Sector of IRM focuses on the preparation and training of in-service community school teachers for both primary and secondary education by designing and implementing training activities that enabled them to use the innovative teaching methods. Considering the importance of education in nation building, Institute of Rural Management, Innovation Center For Education (ICE) is doing its best

to advocate for quality education in government primary and Secondary schools. Individuals and groups who have worked and collaborated with ICE all share the same vision of experiencing an educational system that values love and concern for the family, community and country; an educational system that reaches further than the basics of reading, writing and arithmetic and something that empowers the Pakistani children with purpose and vision. After looking carefully at the needs and gaps in the Pakistan Educational System, three major areas of concern were identified as the main focus of ICE’s response. ICE’s strategic response to the MDG challenge is to continue providing in-service training to teachers including mentoring of mentors, building the capacity of partners in education and empowering schools and communities.
