Heartiest congratulations to member, Dr Matiullah Kamin on his appointment as Consultant Endocrinologist (Full time) at Shifa International Hospital Islamabad. He is one of the first consultants to also be a graduate of .

“I will be doing clinics at from 12pm to 10pm, Monday to Saturday. I will also be doing Online Clinic / Tele-consultation at Shifa Lab Quetta for my Quetta Patients. Moreover to quench my thirst of serving my hometown, I will continue to be in Quetta for Clinics at Shifa Medical Center (outreach clinic) first 3-4 days of every month.

After doing from with multiple distinctions, I got an amazing opportunity of doing my training from prestigious 3 JCI Accredited Institutions of Pakistan. The Aga Khan University Hospital Karachi , Shaukat Khanum Hospital Lahore and Shifa International Hospital Islamabad.

By the grace of Allah I passed my Diabetes & Endocrinology and FCPS Medicine first attempt and also passed Specialty Certificate Exam Diabetes & Endocrinology (UK).

For the last 2.5 years I worked as Consultant Diabetologist & Endocrinologist at City International Hospital Quetta and BMC Hospital Quetta , which was a great learning curve. Now moving back to I am excited and looking forward to pursue my passion for exploring more opportunities to learn in this wonderful field of !

Our classmate Syed Wasif Tariq passed away this morning. He had just turned 32.

Wasif was a gem of a person and a true friend. His passing leaves us bereft of a kind soul who is gone far, far too soon. May Allah SWT grant his family the strength to bear this terrible loss.
