The students of CMLT were successful in curating a magnificent event with colourful displays of the diverse culture of Pakistan!
The collective hard work of the talented cultural communities and their leading masterminds were the basis of this event's success. We loved every nook and cranny of this event; the colourful stalls, up to the mark dance performances and wonderful displays.

The American Society for Clinical Pathology's Board of Certification in Pakistan conferred 2021's to veteran educationist , Principal, College of Medical Laboratory Technology, National Institute of Health (NIH), Islamabad, Pakistan. The Award was presented at an event held to launch his recently published textbook on Microtechniques.
The Lifetime Achievement Award by ASCP BOC Pakistan recognizes the outstanding career of an individual whose work has made a lasting impact in the field of Medical Laboratory Technology. The 2021 award was given for Mr. Jamil Akhtar’s meritorious career as a teacher and trainer of Medical Laboratory Technology at the College of Medical Laboratory Technology, NIH, Islamabad.
The modern MLT practices will always be grateful to this dynamic gentleman because their existence is all because of his tireless dedication. Over the last 25 years, Mr. Akhtar has remained an inspiration for thousands of students, many of whom have completed their PhDs and serving in academic and leadership positions both nationally and internationally. He has remained and will remain the leading light of MLT for generations of students.
