Islamabad Convent School H-8/4 Campus Second Shift

Students participated in a “Little Chef” activity where they washed, peeled, and cut soft fruits like banana, apple, and grapes to make a colorful fruit salad. They mixed the fruits and shared it with classmates.

Purpose: Skills Development

1. Fine Motor Skills: Cutting and scooping fruit with child-safe tools strengthens hand muscles and hand-eye coordination.
2. Language & Vocabulary: Children learn names, colors, and textures of fruits, and practice speaking in simple sentences like “I like banana.”
3. Sensory Development: Touching, smelling, and tasting different fruits enhances sensory awareness.
4. Healthy Habits: The activity introduces the concept of healthy eating and builds a positive attitude toward fruits.
5. Social & Life Skills: Working in groups, sharing things.
