The Annual Result Declaration Day was held with great enthusiasm and dignity at IMSB, Diplomatic Enclave, Prime Minister Staff Colony, G-5. The event marked a significant occasion to celebrate the academic achievements of students and to acknowledge their hard work throughout the year.
The ceremony was graciously attended by the honourable Principal, Mr. Mohsin Raza, the respected President of the School Management Committee (SMC), Mr. Syed Moazzam Gillani, and the Vice Principal, Mr. Muhammad Inam Waris. Their presence added prestige and inspiration to the event.
A large number of parents, along with all members of the teaching staff , participated in the ceremony, making it a grand and memorable gathering. The active involvement of parents reflected their strong commitment to their children’s education and the school’s progress.
The highlight of the event was the distribution of trophies and certificates among the position holder students and result oriented teachers. The students & the honourable teachers were recognized and appreciated for their outstanding academic performance, which served as a motivation for others to strive for excellence.
Overall, the event was a great success, fostering a spirit of achievement, encouragement, and collaboration between the school and parents.

Hiking Experience: Educational & Environmental Activity Report

On Thursday, the 15th of January 2026, the students of Class 10 of Islamabad Model School for Boys, Prime Minister Staff Colony, G-5 participated in an educational hiking trip to Trail-5 in the Margalla Hills National Park under the supervision of the Vice Principal, Mr. Muhammad Inam Waris. This special activity was graciously approved by the honourable Principal, Mr.Mohsin Raza, during school hours as part of the school’s co-curricular development program.

Objectives of the Hiking Activity:

The purpose of this activity was multi-dimensional:

1) To provide practical motivation and physical training to the outgoing class by promoting healthy recreational activities.

2) To develop the spirit of teamwork and cooperation.

3) To educate students on maintaining environmental cleanliness.

4) To teach proper behavior in public places.

5) To enable students to explore and appreciate natural beauty.

6) To inculcate time management skills by assigning a target of reaching the top and returning before school pack-up time.

7) To introduce the fundamentals of event management.

8) To refresh students and prepare them for a more diligent academic attitude as the annual examinations are approaching.

9) To strengthen the ongoing Entrepreneurship Project by collecting recyclable material for resale.

10) To contribute to the concept of Sustainable Development through environmental responsibility.

Activity Description

The students first assembled at school and attended the morning assembly. At approximately 9:30 a.m., they departed for Trail-5. They successfully completed the uphill hike to the Fire Line, covering a distance of nearly 5.5 kilometers. After reaching the top, they rested for about half an hour, enjoying the refreshments they had brought with them.
During the return journey, the students demonstrated exemplary civic sense by collecting plastic and glass bottles, wrappers, and shopping bags carelessly discarded along the trail. The collected waste filled three large cloth bags, which, according to the students, will be sold to a scrap dealer as part of their entrepreneurship activity.
The group returned safely and punctually to school in accordance with the directions of the venerable Principal. The total hiking distance covered was approximately 11 kilometers.
Conclusion
The activity proved to be a highly beneficial and memorable experience, successfully achieving its educational, physical, environmental, and character-building objectives. The students returned refreshed, motivated, and better prepared for the academic challenges ahead!
