Pehli Kiran Schools

Pehli Kiran Schools We are striving to bring every child into a classroom, and off the streets. Watch this space for updates!

An initiative of the JAQ Education Trust, the Pehli Kiran Schools have been ensuring out-of-school children's right to education in Islamabad’s unserved communities since 1995. The Pehli Kiran School System is an initiative of the JAQ Education Trust, consisting of nine non-formal schools in katchi abadis of Islamabad. The schools are unique in that they cater to children from mobile squatter communities, who do not have access to basic educational opportunities. While the school infrastructure is quite simple, consisting of open-air sheds, we are striving to create a happy, child-friendly environment for better learning.

🌱💚 Planting Today for a Greener Tomorrow! 💚🌱

Our Pehli kiran Schools students took part in a meaningful Plantation Drive at Park View City, spreading the message of environmental responsibility and love for nature. 🌿✨

With little hands planting new beginnings, our students showed that every tree planted today can help create a healthier, greener future for generations to come. 🌍💚

Growing together, one tree at a time! 🌱
