Heartiest congratulations Miss Sehrish !
NUST is proud to present the achievement of Ms Sehrish Hamid Butt, Manager at Jinnah School of Public Policy and Leadership (JSPPL)'s Civic Engagement Centre, who was recently recognised as the Mentor of the Year at the national level by Al Khidmat Foundation Pakistan.
For the last 10 years at NUST, Ms. Sehrish Hamid Butt has built and taught NUST's mandatory Community Service course. NUST has also topped Al Khidmat's annual student volunteer awards.
This achievement reflects NUST’s commitment to service, leadership, and impact.

An insightful and engaging session was held for Undergraduate Aerospace Engineering students from AE-01, AE-02, and AE-03 with the AeroFusion NICAT Team on 12 May at the SMME Seminar Hall!
The session highlighted exciting opportunities in startup development, project incubation, and innovation support for Final Year Projects. The NICAT team shared how NICAT and NASTP Alpha are fostering tech entrepreneurship, startup culture, and industry collaboration for engineering students.

The Abdul Kalam Design Challenge 2026 (AKDC 2026), organized by the IMechE NUST Student Chapter, successfully brought together innovation, engineering excellence, and technical creativity through an exciting autonomous climbing robot competition.
Participants designed and developed fully self-contained external pipe-climbing robots capable of autonomous vertical motion, putting their skills in mechanical design, motion control, stability, autonomous operation, and technical communication to the test.
Through both the Foundation and Advanced Challenge stages, teams demonstrated remarkable problem-solving abilities, innovative engineering solutions, and the practical application of engineering concepts while competing on climbing performance, positional accuracy, stability, and presentation quality.
AKDC 2026 truly showcased the passion, creativity, and potential of the next generation of engineers.

On 9th May, the NUST SMME Paragliding Club had an amazing paragliding experience! A total of 22 members, including 12 females, took to the skies and made unforgettable memories together.
